The Tribe of Reuben:

Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright. For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:) The sons, I say, of Reuben the firstborn of Israel were, Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi. The sons of Joel; Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son, Micah his son, Reaia his son, Baal his son, Beerah his son, whom Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites. And his brethren by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned, were the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah, And Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baal-meon: And eastward he inhabited unto the entering in of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead. And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the east land of Gilead.-1 Chronicles 5:1-10***Reuben was the 1st son born to Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah. Gad was the 1st son born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel. Jacob was the youngest fraternal twin son born to Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac was the only child born to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai). Years before 130-year-old Jacob, Reuben and the rest of their family moved from Canaan and began living in Egypt, the country wherein Joseph had entered as a slave and was serving as second-in command, Reuben was physically intimate with Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt and his children buried his body in Canaan, and Joseph, Reuben and their siblings were dead, their descendants the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Miriam and her younger siblings Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. Until Moses was 40 years old, he lived as the son of the daughter of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. For the next 40 years, Moses lived in Midian and was the herder of his father-in-law's sheep. When Moses was 80 years old and herding the sheep near Mount Horeb (Sinai), the Lord God spoke to Moses and sent Moses and 83-year-old Aaron to speak to Pharaoh and the Israelite elders and lead the Israelites to Canaan, the Promised Land, the land of milk and honey that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, with the Israelites possessing an abundance of valuable goods, fulfilling the words that the Lord God spoke to Abraham over 600 years earlier. During the 40-year journey to the Promised Land, Miriam died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried. Sometime thereafter, the Israelites in the tribe of Reuben, and the tribe of Gad, and 1/2 of the Israelites in the tribe of Manasseh received permission and land from Moses to make their homes on the same side of the Jordan River whereupon the Israelites had wandered during their journey. The tribe of Manasseh, the Manassites, and the tribe of Ephraim, the Ephraimites, descended from Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's sons Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own sons. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land. Over 400 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Rehoboam, the son born to King Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon, the 3rd king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's 20-year reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. The Reubenites, Gadites and 1/2 the tribe of Manasseh were among those taken captive. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's 11-year reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, was 18th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiachin's 3-month reign, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin, his wives and mother, to Babylon. During the 11th year of the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
