that I sin not with my tongue:
I will keep my mouth with a bridle,
while the wicked is before me.

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth;
keep the door of my lips.

as surely as the work of his hands rewards him.

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speakth. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good
things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth
evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men
shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of
judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified,
and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
 Matthew 12:34-37

And he called the multitude, and said unto them,
Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into
the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh
out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Matthew 15:10-11

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth
that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure
of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the
abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

but that which is good to the use of edifying,
that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things

good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any
any praise, think on these things.
