Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Sum Total

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them. This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD. Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD. The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls. And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a  memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.-Exodus 30:11-16***When Moses was upon Mount Sinai with the Lord God for 40 days and nights, the Lord God gave Moses commands for the offering of items the Israelites were to willingly bring. The Lord God described to Moses and showed him the likeness for the tabernacle, the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and other sacred items that the Israelites were to make. The Lord God told Moses that Moses' brother Aaron and Aaron's sons and the sons born to their descendants were to be the only priestsAaron was the 1st high priest. Months earlier, Moses and Aaron led their fellow Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the dessert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, was an Israelite from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. Moses and Aaron were from the tribe of Levi, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign over the Israelites. David, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. After David brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the house of Obed-edom, and the ark was placed in a specific tent in the City of David, David wanted to build a house unto the name of the Lord. The Lord God gave Nathan the prophet a message for David regarding the house and David's descendants. Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites. During the 4th year of Solomon's reign, Solomon began building the temple of the Lord. In the 11th year, Solomon's workers finished building the temple in Jerusalem, and all of the sacred items, including the ark of the covenant of the Lord, were properly placed inside. From thenceforward, the duties that were previously performed at the transportable tabernacle were performed at the temple. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Israel was the nation in the north, Samaria was the final royal city, and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Rehoboam's great-great-great-grandson Ahaziah was the 6th king to rule Judah. After Ahaziah was fatally wounded and died, his mother Athaliah ruled Judah for 6 years before Jehoiada the priest presented Ahaziah's son Joash (Jehoash) as king. The temple of the Lord and many sacred items were purposefully damaged during Athaliah's reign. Joash gave commands to the priests and their assistants regarding the money to be gathered from the Israelites. Moreover, Joash questioned Jehoiada the priest while making mention of Moses and the collection, and Joash commanded that a chest be made wherein the Israelites could drop the required monetary offerings. Over 700 years after Amaziah, the son born to Joash and Jehoaddan, became the 8th king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men, including Simon Peter, to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Jesus told his 12 disciples that he came to give his life as a ransom for many, In Capernaum in Galilee, a group questioned Simon Peter about Jesus and didrachmas. The didrachmas were the 2 drachmae or double drachma tribute money that was required to be voluntarily given by Israelite men for service at the temple. The drachma was a Greek silver coin, the equivalent of approximately 1/2 a shekel.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Some Explaining

The Words of
 Jesus the Christ
 the Son of God:

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.  Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.-Luke 17:1-4***When Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was journeying across Galilee his with disciples, the disciples were attempting to decide which of them was the greatest. In Capernaum in Galilee, Jesus spoke to his apostle and disciple Simon Peter about the tribute money that all Israelite males were expected to pay each year for service at the temple in Jerusalem. Immediately thereafter, the other disciples arrived and asked Jesus about the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens. Jesus spoke to the disciples of being converted, and becoming as little children, and Jesus spoke of the kingdom of the heavens, and belief in Jesus, and those who cause others to sin, stumble or be ensnared, and Jesus spoke of trespasses, and repentance, and forgiveness.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John 1:1-26

Anyone, Anyone

From a revelation the Lord God
gave to Isaiah the prophet:

Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?-Isaiah 29:15-16

esteemed = yehaseb = chashab = to think, to regard, to account

framed = weyeser  = yetser/yatsar = formed, fashioned

Yes or No

From a letter written by the apostle Paul (Saul)
to believers in Rome:

What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?-Romans 9:14-24***Aaron and his brother Moses were Israelites born into the tribe of Levi, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. While the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, and  Moses was 80 years old, living freely in Midian, and herding sheep in the region of Mount Horeb, Moses saw a bush afire and heard the voice of the Lord God speaking to him. The Lord God told Moses that he was sending Moses to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and Moses was to bring the Israelites to Canaan, the Promised Land. Moses spoke of his personal inabilities. The Lord God spoke to Moses of Aaron, and the Lord God told Moses that he will harden Pharaoh's heart and Pharaoh will not let the Israelites leave. Moses and Aaron spoke to the Israelite elders and spoke to Pharaoh, and the work of the Israelites was increased. The Israelites spoke to Moses and Aaron, and Moses spoke to the Lord God. The Lord God spoke to Moses and sent Moses to speak to the Israelites. Moses spoke to the Israelites and spoke to the Lord God. After the Lord God told Moses that he will harden Pharaoh's heart, the Lord God sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and the Lord God brought the 1st plague upon Egypt.
After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Pharaoh told Moses and Aaron to get themselves, and the Israelites and their animals and go serve the Lord God. Before Moses, Aaron, the Israelites, and those with them, were near the Red Sea, the Lord God told Moses that he will harden Pharaoh's heart and the hearts of the Egyptians and the Egyptians will pursue the Israelites. During the 40th year of their journey to the Promised Land, Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, was from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that after Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants, the Lord God hardened the hearts of the idol worshiping inhabitants who came to battle the Israelites. Over 300 years after Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign over the Israelites. David, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson King Uzziah (Azariah) was the 9th king to rule Judah. Uzziah's son King Jotham  was the 10th king to reign. Jotham's son King Ahaz was the 11th king to reign, and Ahaz's son King Hezekiah was the 12th king to rule Judah. Isaiah was an Israelite and a prophet of the Lord God. During the latter part of Uzziah's reign, and throughout the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, Isaiah proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites, and saw visions and received messages from the Lord God, including revelations of potters and clayWhile Ahaz was ruling Judah, the Assyrians invaded the northern nation of Israel and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During Hezekiah's reign over Judah, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. During the reign of Hezekiah's great-great-grandson King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) conquered Judah, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Before Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, and after Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven less than 33 1/2 years after he was born, the Roman Empire was ruling the land whereupon the kingdoms of the Israelites previously stood. Paul (Saul) was from the tribe of Benjamin and did not believe Jesus to be the Christ. Moreover, Paul persecuted and imprisoned any Israelites who called upon the name of Jesus. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus in Syria to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus, and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus, Paul was baptized. From thenceforward, Paul the apostle journeyed and wrote divinely inspired letters, teaching Israelites and Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes, the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life and the relationship of the Lord God with the Gentiles and the Israelites, his treasured and chosen people.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, 10:1-29:30, Isaiah 1:1-31, 29:1-30:33, 41:1-29, 45:1-25, 64:1-12, Jeremiah 39:1-18, 52:1-34, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, Romans

Always and Forever

The Lord God,  and Nathan the prophet,
and King David and his idea:

Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains. Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee. And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying, Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in: For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another. Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars? Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus said the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel: And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth. Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning, And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee, that the LORD will build thee an house. And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore. According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.-1 Chronicles 17:1-15

Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days. Not at All

From a letter written by Simon Peter
to believers everywhere:

Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.-2 Peter 1:13-21***When the Israelites were with Moses and his older brother Aaron in the desert wilderness of Sinai in the region of Mount Sinai, months after Moses and Aaron led them away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shurthey heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them. The Israelites were afraid and thought they would die. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Over 400 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Rehoboam, the son born to King Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. During the reign of King Ahab, the 7th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, Elijah the prophet presented a challenge upon Mount Carmel to his fellow Israelites and a group of false prophets. Over 800 years after Elijah went up into heaven by a whirlwind, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah, the tribe of Solomon and all of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Jacob's 3rd born son Levi. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men, including Simon Peter, James and John, to follow him, and Jesus began to preach teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Simon Peter, James and John were the disciples and apostles most constantly with Jesus. Upon a mountain in Galilee, Simon Peter, James and John were with Jesus and saw Jesus speaking with Moses and Elijah. When Moses and Elijah were departing from Jesus, Simon Peter spoke to Jesus and suggested making a tabernacle for Jesus, and a tabernacle for Moses and a tabernacle for Elijah. While Simon Peter was speaking, a bright cloud was overshadowing Simon Peter, James and John. They were fearful entering into the cloud, and they heard the voice of the Lord God speaking to them. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven. Simon Peter becameleader among the Israelite believers, wrote at least 2 divinely inspired letters, and revealed information regarding his own tabernacle, the tent that was his body. Meanwhile, the Roman Empire was ruling the land whereupon the kingdoms of the Israelites previously stood.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-2:25, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, 1 Peter, 2 Peter

tabernacle = skenomati/skenomatos/skenoma/skenoo = a pitched tent, a dwelling, a body

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.-2 Corinthians 5:1
