The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. N-O Means Don't Go

Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden. And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem. And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed. And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again. And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day. And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy. And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus. And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles. And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying. The will of the Lord be done.-Acts 21:3-14***Over 1,900 years after Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. On the 8th day after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was circumcised according to the covenant of circumcision that the Lord God gave Joseph and Mary's ancestor Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) when Abraham was 99 years old. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the disciple and apostle, and Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven. Paul (Saul) was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Paul did not believe Jesus to be the Christ. Throughout Jerusalem, Paul persecuted and imprisoned  Israelites who believed Jesus to be the Christ of God. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus, Syria, to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus Paul was baptized. From thenceforward, Paul the apostle journeyed and wrote divinely inspired letters, teaching Israelites and Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes, the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life. Paul journeyed and spoke to people in Arabia, Damascus, Jerusalem, Caesarea, Tarsus, Antioch, Seleucia,  Paphos, Cyprus, Perga, Iconium, Lystra, Derbe, Attalia, Phoenicia, Samaria, Syria, Cilicia, Phrygia, Galatia, Troas, Macedonia, Philippi, Amphipolis, Apollonia, Thessalonica, Berea, Athens, Corinth, Ephesus, Miletus, Greece, Tyre, and Ptolemais. During Paul's last voluntary journey to Caesarea, Agabus the prophet spoke to Paul.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, 11:19-28:31, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon

Visiting, Perchance, in Peace

So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah was come down to see Joram. And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace? So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again. Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously. And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite. And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many? And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, O Ahaziah. And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot. Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him; Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the LORD. But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there. And his servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the city of David.-2 Kings 9:16-28***Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel. Before 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt, he made Joseph swear to bury his body in Canaan, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Jacob, and to Jacob's father Isaac, and to Isaac's father Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to their descendants. Aaron and his younger brother Moses were born into the tribe of Levi, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. After the Lord God sent Moses and Aaron to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and after the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and 120-year-old Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land. After 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, the Israelites were led by elders, judges or their own minds. When Samuel the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Levi was elderly, and his sons Joel (Vashni) and Abiah were wicked, and King Nahash and his fellow Ammonites were preparing to attack, the Israelite elders demanded that Samuel appoint a king to lead them. Samuel prayed to the Lord God and proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites. Samuel anointed Saul, from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin, to reign as king, according to the command of the Lord God. Saul did not obey the commands of the Lord God. The Lord rejected Saul and sent Samuel to anoint David, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, to reign as king. David served as a musician and an armor-bearer for Saul, and killed Goliath the gigantic Philistine, and entered in a covenant with Jonathan, Saul's son, and married Saul's daughter Michal, and lived on the run from Saul. After Saul's self-inflicted death on the battlefield, men from the tribe of Judah anointed 30-year-old David, and David began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. Saul's son Ishbosheth (Eshbaal) reigned over the other Israelite tribes. After Ishbosheth was murdered, the elders went to David and David made a covenant with them. The elders anointed David and 37 1/2-year-old David became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. King Ahab was the 7th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Jezebel was Ahab's wife. Ahab and Jezebel's son Joram (Jehoram) was the 9th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Rehoboam's great-grandson Jehoshaphat was the 4th king to rule Judah. Jehoshaphat's son Joram (Jehoram) was the 5th king to rule Judah. Jehoshaphat's son Joram married Ahab's daughter Athaliah. Joram and Athaliah's son Ahaziah was the 6th king to rule Judah. Joram and Ahaziah fought together against the Arameans (Syrians). After Joram was wounded, Joram went to Jezreel to heal, and Ahaziah went to Jezreel to visit Joram. Meanwhile, a prophet of the Lord God anointed Jehu to rule as king over the northern nation of Israel, according to the command of the Lord God. Jehu went on a mission to put an end to all of Ahab's survivors. When Joram and Ahaziah were headed towards Jehu, Jehu's arrow ended Joram's life. Ahaziah was seriously wounded, yet escaped and later died. Ahaziah's grandfather Jehoshaphat was a faithful worshiper of the Lord God. Thus, Ahaziah's servants traveled to the northern nation of Israel to retrieve Ahaziah's body. Ahaziah's mother Athaliah began to rule Judah and was the only woman and the only person not descended from David to rule Judah. Over 800 years after Ahaziah's son Joash became the 7th king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it. And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.-1 Kings 21:17-19

Let Me Go for Awhile or So

And Joseph fell upon his father's face, and wept upon him, and kissed him. And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father: and the physicians embalmed Israel. And forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed: and the Egyptians mourned for him threescore and ten days. And when the days of his mourning were past, Joseph spake unto the house of Pharaoh, saying, If now I have found grace in your eyes, speak, I pray you, in the ears of Pharaoh, saying, My father made me swear, saying, Lo, I die: in my grave which I have digged for me in the land of Canaan, there shalt thou bury me. Now therefore let me go up, I pray thee, and bury my father, and I will come again. And Pharaoh said, Go up, and bury thy father, according as he made thee swear.-Genesis 50:1-6***Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah were born to Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and maidservant Bilhah. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and maidservant Zilpah.  Joseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel. Rachel and Joseph were Jacob's favorites. When Joseph was at least 17 years old and living with his family in Canaan, his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt. The merchants sold Joseph to Potiphar, an Egyptian official. The Lord God caused Potiphar to see Joseph favorably and trust Joseph with responsibilities. After Potiphar's wife made a false accusation, Potiphar put Joseph in the king's prison. The Lord God caused the prison warden to see Joseph favorably and trust Joseph with responsibilities. Less than 3 years after Joseph gave the interpretation and meaning of a dream to the cupbearer and the baker who worked for Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, Joseph gave the interpretation and meaning of 2 dreams to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Pharaoh proclaimed 30-year-old Joseph to be second-in-command in Egypt, and gave Joseph a different name, and arranged for Joseph to marry Asenath. Manasseh and Ephraim were born to Joseph and Asenath. During a famine, Jacob sent Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, and Zebulun to Egypt to buy grain. Joseph recognized his brothers, kept his identity from them, accused them of being spies, and placed them in custody for 3 days. Joseph commanded his brothers to bring Benjamin to Egypt and kept Simeon in Egypt while the other brothers returned to Canaan. The famine continued, and Jacob allowed his sons to take Benjamin with them to Egypt. After dining and speaking with his brothers and sending them away and having them brought back to him, Joseph identified himself to his brothers and told them to bring Jacob and their families to live in Egypt. When Pharaoh heard of Joseph's family, he instructed Joseph to tell them to gather their families, their father Jacob, and their animals, and settle in Egypt, with Pharaoh guaranteeing them the use of everything excellent in Egypt. Thus, 130-year-old Jacob moved with his family to Egypt and was able to have Joseph near him for 17 years. Moreover, Jacob proclaimed Manasseh and Ephraim to be his own sons, and made Joseph vow to bury his body in Canaan. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died, and Joseph and his siblings were dead, Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Over 1,400 years after Moses and his older brother Aaron, from the tribe of Levi, led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, in the desert wilderness, and through a 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 26:1-65, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Reference Scriptures:
And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt: But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said. And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.-Genesis 47:29-31

Quién es

And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith. And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?-Mark 4:35-41***After Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, began preaching and teaching about repentance and the kingdom of heaven, Jesus spoke of several people who exhibited a measure of faith. Jesus spoke of the great faith of a centurion, and the great faith of a Syrophoenician woman, and the faith of the men carrying their paralytic companion, and the faith of a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years, and the faith of Bartimaeus and another blind man, and the faith of a grateful, healed leper, and the faith of a sinful woman who cried. Thereto, Jesus spoke of the little faith of Simon Peter, and the little faith and lack of faith of his other disciples, and the lack of faith among those in Nazareth, the town wherein Jesus lived for years after he was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and born to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Just Obedience

Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley: and I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days, thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee. For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.-Hosea 3:1-5***King Uzziah (Azariah) was the 9th king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. Uzziah's son Jotham was the 10th king to rule Judah. Jotham's son Ahaz was the 11th king to reign. Ahaz's son Hezekiah was the 12th king to rule Judah. King Joash (Jehoash) was the 12th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land. Joash's son Jeroboam was the 13th king to rule the northern nation. When Jeroboam was reigning in Samaria over the northern nation of Israel, and Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah successively reigned in Jerusalem over Judah, Hosea the prophet received commands and revelations from the Lord God. The Lord God gave Hosea revelations, and words of warning, and descriptions of the future for the Israelites, the treasured  and chosen  people of the Lord
God. After Hosea married Gomer, their children Jezreel, Lo-ruhamah and Lo-ammi were born. The Lord God gave Hosea the name for each child, and Hosea received another specific command from the Lord God regarding Gomer, a harlot. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Isralites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Hezekiah's great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians began taking Israelites to Babylon. During the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israleites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the birth tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Number 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Hosea, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Between You and Me

The Words of
Jesus the Christ,
the Son of God:

Moreover if your brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.-Matthew 18:15-17***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that in the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Isralites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites. The Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God, learned that the statement of 1 witness was not enough to convict any person of a crime. An accusation proclaimed by 2 or 3 witnesses was enough to bring a charge of guilt upon anyone accused of injustice or sin, and a charge of death for those accused of murder or idolatryDuring the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land,  Moses died and was buried upon Mount Nebo. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Over 1,300 years after Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the Israelite tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among his disciples and the rest of the Israelites. Jesus spoke about the matter of witnesses in regards to personal offenses, and Jesus taught his listeners the steps to take and the order to follow whenever a trespass occurred between believers.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, 35:1-34, Deuteronomy 17:1-13, 19:1-21, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Please and Thank You

David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him. And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men. And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me. And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.-1 Samuel 22:1-4***After David was anointed by Samuel the priest, prophet and judge to reign as king, David became an armor-bearer and musician for King Saul, the 1st king to reign over the Israelites in the Promised Land. After David killed Goliath the gigantic Philistine, David had enemies, and friends, and people who provided him with necessary assistance. Jonathan, Saul's son, made a covenant with David. Michal, Saul's daughter, married David. The Israelite women sang of David higher in a song than they sang of Saul. Saul wanted David dead, and threw a weapon at David, and told Jonathan and others to kill David. Saul appointed David as commander over 1,000 troops, and sent David on a mission against the Philistines, hoping the Philistines would kill David. After Saul tried to kill David with a weapon a 2nd time, David left the palace and went home. Michal helped David escape, and David ran to Samuel. After leaving Samuel, David went to Jonathan and to  Ahimelech the priest. Ahimelech gave David 5 loaves of consecrated  bread and the sword that had belonged to Goliath. After leaving Ahimelech, David went to Gath, Goliath's hometown, and to a cave in Adullam, in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Judah, the tribe of David's birth. When David's family joined him in Adullam, David took his father Jesse and his mother, whose name is not revealed in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible, to a city in the land of the Moabites. David and his fellow Israelites descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his wives Leah and Rachel and maidservants Bilhah and Zilpah, and the 12 sons born to Jacob, his wives and maidservants. The Moabites, including David's great-grandmother Ruth, were descendants of Abraham and Sarah's nephew Lot and Lot's oldest daughter and their son Moab. born to Lot and his daughter. After Saul's self-inflicted death on the battlefield, men from the tribe of Judah anointed 30-year-old David, and David began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. Saul's son Ishbosheth (Eshbaal) reigned over the other Israelite tribes. After Ishbosheth was murdered, the Israelite elders went to David and David made a covenant with them. The elders anointed David, and David became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus 24:5-9, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 15:1-63, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-11:43, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-9:31, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

The Lord God Himself

Psalm 18 consists of 50 verses,
verses 6-19 are given below:

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire. The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.-Psalm 18:6-19***David was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. David is recognized as the divinely inspired writer of Psalm 18. In the Promised Land, before David reigned as king only over the tribe of Judah, and reigned over all of the Israelites, David had enemies. Saul was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Saul was the 1st king to reign over the Israelites in the Promised Land, and Saul wanted David dead. Doeg the Edomite, and the people of Ziph, disclosed David's whereabouts to Saul. The people of Keilah were ready to hand David over to Saul. Wealthy  Nabal refused to provide any goods for David and David's men. David fought the Philistines numerous times. David attacked the places wherein the Amalekites, Geshurites, and Girzites (Gezrites) lived. Moreover, David fought the Amalekites after the Amalekites captured the wives and children of David and his men. After 37 1/2-year-old David began to reign over all of the Israelites, David conquered the fortress of the Jebusites, and it became the City of David. David victoriously battled the Moabites, and the Ammonites and Syrians  (Arameans), and the Edomites. Absalom, the son born to David and Maacah, had himself king while David reigned. When David was approximately 70 years old and bedridden, Adonijah, the son born to David and Haggith, plotted to have himself proclaimed king. Several of David's advisers turned against David to follow Absalom or Adonijah. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-11:43, 1 Chronicles 1:1-2:17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-9:31, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
