Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Otherwise, They'll Say "Here's Why"

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty and? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath and repent of this evil against thy people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever. And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.-Exodus 32:7-14***Aaron and his brother Moses were Israelites from the tribe of Levi, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. Over 3,400 years ago, 80-year-old Moses and 83-year-old Aaron led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. Months thereafter, in the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Towards the end of Moses' 1st time upon Mount Sinai with the Lord God for 40 days and nights, the Israelites asked Aaron to make gods that could lead them, be sacrificed to and worshiped. The Lord God was angry and wanted to destroy the Israelites. However, Moses sought mercy and began reasoning with the Lord God. Shortly thereafter, Moses was upon Mount Sinai a 2nd time with the Lord God. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, was from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. Over 1,400 years after Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 1:1-13:18, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Nope

And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.-John 1:19-21***John the Baptist was born to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and Elizabeth (Elisabeth), Israelites from the tribe of Levi, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah,  Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. John the Baptist was sent according to the will of the Lord God, and was filled with the Holy Spirit from birth to get people ready for the arrival of Jesus the Christ, the Son of GodJesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin. Months after John the Baptist was born, Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. John the Baptist preached of repentance, with crowds confessing their sins and being baptized by him in the Jordan River, and at a place beyond the Jordan, and at Aenon near Salim. When questioned regarding the specifics of his identity, John stated that he was not the Christ, and he was not Elijah, the prophet who was taken up into heaven by a whirlwind over 800 years earlier, and he was not the prophet whom Moses proclaimed over 1,400 years earlier would be raised by the Lord God from among the Israelites.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 18:15-22, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-2:25, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

             *****************************

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house. And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go. And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.-Acts 16:25-37***Paul (Saul) was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, and their 2nd and last son Benjamin. Sometime after Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven, Paul began going throughout Jerusalem, persecuting and imprisoning any Israelite who believed Jesus to be the Christ. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus, Syria, to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus Paul was baptized. From thenceforward, Paul the apostle journeyed and wrote divinely inspired letters teaching Israelites and Gentiles, people not born into the israelite tribes, the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life. Paul stood in synagogues and spoke to Israelites about Jesus, and Paul continued preaching even after being pelted with stones and dragged away. Paul had the faith to know that a lame man could be healed and a demonic spirit could be commanded by him to come out of an enslaved young woman. After Paul and Silas, a fellow Israelite, believer, and Roman citizen, were imprisoned and about to be released, Paul boldly sent officers back to the magistrates with terms of his own.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, 11:19-28:31

Looking Like There's A-Courting in Sight

Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor. Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking. And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do. And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.-Ruth 3:1-5***Judah was the 4th son born to Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah. Er, Onan and Shelah were born to Judah and his wife, a Canaanite woman. Judah arranged a marriage between Er and Tamar. After Er was wicked and struck dead by the Lord God, Judah told Onan to marry Tamar and produce an heir for Er. After Onan was wicked and the Lord God killed Onan, Judah led Tamar to believe that Shelah would be her husband. When Tamar realized such a marriage was not going to occur, she succeeded with a different motherhood plan. Over 700 years after twin sons Pharez and Zarah (Perez and Zerah) were born to Judah and Tamar, 2 sons, Mahlon and Chilion, were born to Elimelech and NaomiThe divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that after Elimelech died, Mahlon married Ruth, Chilion married Orpah, and Mahlon and Chilion died. Naomi had no other sons and would have no other sons for Ruth to marry. After Ruth spoke to Naomi about working in the field of Naomi's wealthy relative  Boaz, a descendant of Pharez, Ruth was noticed by Boaz, and Boaz married Ruth. Obed was born to Boaz and Ruth, and Jesse was born to Obed, and David was the 8th son born to Jesse. Over a decade after David was born, Samuel, the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi, anointed David to reign as king, according to the command of the Lord God. When David was 30 years old, he began to reign only over the tribe of Judah in the Promised Land. When David was 37 years old, he became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the land that the Lord God promised to give to Jacob, and to Jacob's father Isaac, and to Isaac's father Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to their descendants. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus 25:25, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 25:5-10, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-11:43, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-4:23, 6:1-81, 2 Chronicles 1:1-9:31, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;) Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.-Esther 2:12-13***After Queen Vashti disobeyed her husband King Ahasuerus (Xerxes), ruler of the Persian Empire, and refused to come and stand before him and his guests, Ahasuerus followed advice and had the loveliest young virgins throughout the 127 provinces of his kingdom brought to Shushan in order to crown a new queen. Ahasuerus chose and married Esther, an Israelite (Hebrew/Jew), a descendant of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Over 400 years after Esther and Mordecai, her cousin and guardian, helped save the lives of the Israelites throughout the kingdom, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, Esther, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Just as You Said Inside Your Head, or Heart

And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea. And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.-Mark 5:21-34***During the 12th year after Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin, Jesus was in the temple in Jerusalem, listening, questioning, understanding, and answering. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 day and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. When Jesus was en route to heal the 12-year-old daughter of Jairus, a synagogue ruler, a woman who had been continuously bleeding for 12 years reached out to obtain healing from Jesus. In the Gospel of Mark in the Holy Bible, it is revealed that the woman acted on what she said. In the Gospel of Matthew, the woman spoke the idea to herself, and in the Gospel of Luke, the woman explained her actions to Jesus. In the Gospel of Mark and the Gospel of Luke, the 12-year-old girl lay dying as Jairus made his request, and in the Gospel of Matthew, the girl was dead when Jairus spoke with Jesus the Christ. However, each of divinely inspired writers revealed the manner whereby the girl was alive in the presence of Jesus the Christ.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Blessed Dressed List

John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;-Mark 1:4-6***John the Baptist was born to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and Elizabeth (Elisabeth), an elderly, previously childless couple from the tribe of Levi. Before John the Baptist was physically conceived in Elizabeth's womb, the angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah and told Zechariah that Elizabeth would give birth to a son who was to be named John. Six months thereafter, the angel Gabriel spoke to Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin pledged to wed Joseph, a craftsman, and explained that Jesus, the Son of the Most High, would be conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb. After Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb when Mary was a virgin, Mary visited Elizabeth. Months after John the Baptist was born to Zechariah and Elizabeth, Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, Exodus, Leviticus 11:21-22, 2 Kings 1:8, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Zechariah 13:4, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, and said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!-John 19:1-5***Less than 33 1/2 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born, John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded and Jesus was betrayed and arrested. In the presence of Caiaphas the high priest, Jesus affirmed himself to be the Christ, the Son of God. The next morning, Jesus was taken to Pontius Pilate, the governor of Judea for the Roman Empire, and Pilate asked Jesus if Jesus was the king of the Jews. Jesus affirmatively answered, and Jesus was flogged and handed over to be crucified. Pilate sent Jesus to Herod Antipas, the governor of Galilee for the Roman Empire. Herod Antipas questioned Jesus and sent Jesus back to Pilate. Jesus was taken to the Praetorium, the governor's Jerusalem residence, wherein soldiers took off the garments Jesus was wearing and dressed Jesus in the semblance of a king. The soldiers braided thorns together and placed the platted crown on Jesus and draped the outer cloak of a Roman soldier upon Jesus. For a scepter, they put a staff in the right hand of Jesus the Christ.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Nothing, Nowhere, Uh Uh, Huh

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.  And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? And why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?-Genesis 4:1-9***Cain and Abel were born to Adam and Eve. The Lord God created Adam, the 1st man. The Lord God formed Adam from the dust of the ground. The Lord God made Adam's wife Eve, the mother of all living, after taking a part out of Adam. Sometime after Cain killed Abel, Seth was born to Adam and Eve. Seth's great-great-great-grandson was Enoch. Enoch's great-grandson was Noah the ark builder. Shem was born to Noah, and Arphaxad was born to Shem. Arphaxad's great-great-great-great-great-grandson was Terah. Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai) were born to Terah. Isaac was born to Abraham and Sarah. Fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to Isaac and his wife Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. Decades thereafter, Jacob married Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian. Over 1,900 years after Judah was to Jacob and Leah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? Then he went down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant. But he said, As the LORD liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused. And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD. In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing. And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way. But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him. So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well? And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments. And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him. And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed. But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.-2 Kings 5:9-25***Naaman was a Syrian (Aramean) army commander who went to the northern nation of Israel in the Promised  Land to be cured of leprosy. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Naaman was healed after following the directions of Elisha, a prophet of the Lord God. Don't Say "Hi" and Don't Say "Bye"

And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there. And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him. And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old. And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door. And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life. And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers. And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well. Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well. And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it from me, and hath not told me. Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me? Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man salute him not: and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child.-2 Kings 4:8-29***Issachar was the 5th son born to Jacob (Israel) and Leah. In Shunem, in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Issachar, a son was born to a previously childless woman and her elderly husband. Years after the son was born to the Shunnamite woman and her husband, Elisha the prophet, who had prophesied that a son would be born to the couple, returned to the woman's house with his servant Gehazi. Over 800 years after the couple's son was resurrected, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. In Galilee, at Nain, Jesus spoke to a widow and commanded the widow's dead son to arise. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 19:17-23, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-8:6, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 7:1-5, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. Luke 10:1-4***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, chose 12 of his disciples to be apostles, and sent the 12 apostles on a mission only among Israelites throughout the villages, proclaiming the kingdom of God, driving out demons and curing fellow Israelites of diseases. Sometime after the 12 apostles returned, Jesus sent out at least 70 others, in sets of 2, on a mission.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
