This Bunch for Free

Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks, a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few. But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.-Acts 17:1-5***Paul (Saul) was a well-known Pharisee from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Paul worshiped the Lord God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Throughout Jerusalem, Paul persecuted and imprisoned any Israelite who believed Jesus, who had been betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven, to be the Christ, the Son of God. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus in Syria to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus, and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus Paul was baptized. From thenceforward, Paul the apostle journeyed and wrote divinely inspired letters, teaching the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life to Israelites and Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes. Paul often journeyed with others, including Barnabas, who spoke to other Israelites of Paul's new life in Christ. Silas (Silvanus), an Israelite and respected leader and prophet, sometime journeyed with Paul and was with Paul in prison, and in Thessalonica when a group was corralled and grew into a riotous mob.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-4:37, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, 11:19-28:31, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon

This Bunch Is Trying to Put an End to Me

Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;) That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.-Nehemiah 6:1-4***Saul was the 1st king to rule over the Israelites in the Promised Land. David was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. Less than 200 years after Jeroboam's Nadab became the 2nd king to rule the northern nation of Israel, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians began taking Israelites to Babylon. During the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Babylonians broke through and broke down the walls around Jerusalem, and looted and burned the temple of the Lord, and the palace, and other buildings, and left the poorest inhabitants in Judah. Less than 70 years after Jerusalem was conquered, King Cyrus, ruler of the Persian Empire, allowed the Israelites to return to Judah and Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God. Many Israelites returned and built an altar and set the foundation for the temple in Jerusalem. Enemies successfully saw to the stoppage of any more rebuilding until King Darius, ruler of the Persian Empire, commanded that the building of the temple resume and the Israelite builders be left alone. Sometime thereafter, King Artaxerxes, who initially sided with the opposers, allowed Ezra, and Nehemiah, to go to Jerusalem. Despite enemy attempts, Ezra and Nehemiah remained faithful to their work for the Lord God. After the partial completion of the wall, Nehemiah was personally targeted for destruction. Over 400 years after Nehemiah and Ezra witnessed the complete rebuilding of the wall around Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah, the birth tribe of David and his descendants, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Jeremiah 39:1-18, 52:1-34, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

His Glory Was Right Before Me

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings: with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.-Isaiah 6:1-4***Amaziah was born to into the tribe of Judah to King Joash (Jehoash) and Jehoaddan. Joash was the 7th king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. When Amaziah was 25 years old, Amaziah became the 8th king to rule Judah. Amaziah began his 29-year reign worshiping the Lord God. After defeating the Edomites, Amaziah kept and worshiped their idols. The Edomites descended from Esau (Edom) and the Israelites descended from Esau's younger fraternal twin brother Jacob (Israel). Uzziah (Azariah) was born to Amaziah and Jecholiah. When Uzziah was 16 years old, Uzziah became the 9th king to rule Judah. Uzziah only worshiped the Lord God. However, the Lord God afflicted Uzziah with leprosy after Uzziah entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense, disobeying the commandments, judgments, statutes, and laws that the Lord God gave to Moses for the Israelites. Isaiah was an Israelite and a prophet of the Lord God. Isaiah proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites during the latter portion of Uzziah's 52-year reign, and during the 16-year reign of Uzziah's son King Jotham, and the 16-year reign of Jotham's son King Ahaz, and the 29-year reign of Ahaz's son King Hezekiah. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Isaiah received visions from the Lord God regarding the last days. Over 600 years after Manasseh, the son born to Hezekiah and Hephzibah, became the 13th king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Isaiah, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Can't Resist When We Insist

And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and has not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him  to be condemned to death, and have crucified him. But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre; And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive. And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.-Luke 24:13-31***Over 1,400 years Moses and his older brother Aaron led their fellow Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and through the desert wilderness for 40 years, and Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land, Solomon, the 2nd son born to King David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites. In Jerusalem, Solomon built the temple of the Lord. Over 900 years after Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the birth tribe of David and his descendants,  to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. On the 8th day after Jesus was born, Jesus was circumcised. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus, and the Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. For 40 days Jesus fasted and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested,  crucified, and buried in a tomb. Among the people who saw Jesus after Jesus was resurrected, and before Jesus was returned to heaven, were:

             Mary Magdalene
A crowd of at least 500
The 11 remaining disciples and apostles                 James (not definitively identified)
             Two disciples traveling to Emmaus

The 2 disciples traveling to Emmaus were Cleopas and his unnamed companion.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-2, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-14:31, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-12:16, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, Romans 10:1-21, 1 Corinthians 15:1-58

If - Then

In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai. For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai; and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount. And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.-Exodus 19:1-6***Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) came from an idolatrous environment. When Abraham was living with his family in Ur in southern Mesopotamia, the Lord God appeared and told Abraham to depart from his country and kin and come into the land he would be shown. Abraham journeyed from Ur to Haran in northern Mesopotamia with his wife Sarah (Sarai), their father Terah and nephew Lot. Sometime after 205-year-old Terah died in Haran, Abraham, Sarah and Lot journeyed with their servants and possession to Canaan, a land inhabited by idolaters. The Lord God promised to give Canaan to Abraham's descendants and Abraham. When Abraham was 86 years old, Ishmael was born to Abraham and Hagar, Sarah's maidservant. The angel of the Lord spoke the words of the Lord to Hagar regarding Ishmael's life. When Abraham was 100 years old, Isaac, the son whom the Lord God promised would be born, was born to Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. When Isaac was 40 years old, he was married to Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. The Lord God appeared and promised to give Canaan to Isaac and Isaac's descendants. When Isaac was 60 years old, fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to Isaac and Rebekah. Decades thereafter, when Jacob was asleep and dreaming, Jacob saw angels and the Lord God and the Lord God promised to give Canaan to Jacob and Jacob's descendants. Jacob became the husband of Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah.  Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Jacob's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and Rachel. When Joseph was at least 17 years old, his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt and led Jacob to believe that Joseph was killed by an animal. The merchants sold Joseph to Potiphar, an Egyptian official. Joseph became the top servant in Potiphar's home, and a trusted prisoner after he was falsely accused, and second-in-command in Egypt. During a famine, Jacob sent his sons to Egypt to buy grain. After the sons made a 2nd visit to Egypt, Jacob identified himself to his brothers, and told them to move to Egypt with their families, including Jacob. Moreover, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, invited and welcomed 130-year-old Jacob and his family to Egypt. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt and his body was buried in Canaan, and Joseph and his siblings were dead, the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Aaron and his brother Moses were born into the tribe of Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, the Lord God sent them to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. Months thereafter, in the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes, and laws for the Israelites. The Lord God made a covenant with the Israelites, and the Israelites agreed to obey the words of the Lord God. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, was from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land. Over 1,300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus 26:1-46, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 27:1-34:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Isaiah 41:8-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, James 2:1-26

Through with You

After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born to Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them. And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers. And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.-Acts 18:1-6***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was sent by his Father, the Lord God in heaven, to do the will of the Lord God. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Judah was the 4th son born to Jacob (Israel) and Leah. Jacob was the youngest fraternal twin son born to Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac was the only child born to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai). Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus, and the Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. For 40 days Jesus fasted and was tempted. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Jesus sometimes taught and sometimes performed miracles among Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes. Jesus sent his 12 disciples and apostles to preach, teach and perform miracles only among the Israelites. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven. Simon Peter, 1 of the 3 disciples and apostles most constantly with Jesus, became a leader among the Israelite believers. After Simon Peter received a vision from the Lord, he understood that the good news of Jesus was also for Gentiles. Simon Peter taught among some Gentiles and the Gentiles were baptized. Paul (Saulwas an Israelite from the tribe of BenjaminThroughout Jerusalem, Paul persecuted and imprisoned any Israelite man or woman who believed Jesus to be the Christ. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus in Syria to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:-Acts 15:22

You'll See

And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beersheba. And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them. And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king. And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you. He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.-1 Samuel 8:1-18***In the 40th year after Moses and his older brother Aaron led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness, according to the commands of the Lord God, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor. Shortly thereafter, Moses recounted the history of the wilderness journey. Moses restated the commandments, judgments, statutes, and laws that the Lord God gave for the Israelites, his treasured and chosen people, and the  commands the Lord God gave regarding enemy nations living throughout the Promised Land. Moses spoke of the desire the Israelites would have for a king to rule over them, and Moses told his fellow Israelites the manner whereby the king should be chosen. After Moses and Joshua, his successor, proclaimed the words of a song to the Israelites, and Moses blessed the Israelites, 120-year-old Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaacand to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Over 250 years after Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Samuel, the priest, prophet and judge, was born. When Samuel was elderly, and his sons Joel (Vashni) and Abiah were wicked, and King Nahash and his fellow Ammonites were preparing to attack, the Israelite elders demanded that Samuel appoint a king to lead them. Samuel prayed to the Lord God and proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites. Afterwards, Samuel anointed Saul, from the tribe of Jacob's 12th born son Benjamin, to reign as king, according to the command of the Lord God. Saul did not obey the commands of the Lord God. While Saul reigned, the Lord God sent Samuel to anoint David, from the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah, to reign as king. Approximately 1,000 years after David became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21. 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-2:12, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Now We Know

And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.-John 2:13-22***King David was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. While reigning, David wanted to build a structure wherein to house the ark of the covenant of the Lord. The Lord God told Nathan the prophet to tell David that David's son and successor would build the building. Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites. While reigning, Solomon built the temple of the Lord on property in Jerusalem that David purchased from Araunah (Ornan) the Jebusite. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites in the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Murderers and idolaters always ruled the northern nation of Israel. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. David's descendants ruled Judah, except for the 6-year reign of Athaliah. During the 5th year of Rehoboam's 17-year reign, the temple of the Lord was ransacked by King Shishak, ruler of Egypt. Throughout the years, some of Judah's kings stripped the temple of valuables, and other kings in Judah repaired the temple. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-grandson Amaziah was the 8th king to rule Judah. King Jehoash (Joash) was the 12th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Amaziah instigated a fight against Jehoash. After Jehoash gave Amaziah a warning, Jehoash broke down a portion of the wall around Jerusalem, looted the temple and the palace, and took some Israelites from Judah to the northern nation of Israel. Less than 70 years after Jehoash's son Jeroboam became the 13th king to reign over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Less than 140 years after Samaria was conquered, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. The Babylonians looted and burned the temple and took their last batch of Israelites to Babylon. Less than 70 years after Jerusalem was conquered, King Cyrus, ruler of the Persian Empire, allowed the Israelites to return to Judah and Jerusalem to build a temple, according to the will of the Lord God. When King Darius was ruling the Persian Empire, Darius allowed the Israelites to resume building. When King Artaxerxes was ruling the Persian Empire, Artaxerxes sent silver and gold with those returning to Jerusalem. Over 475 years after the Israelites rebuilt the temple, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah, the birth tribe of David and all of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites (Hebrews/Jews), the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Jeremiah 39:1-18, 52:1-34, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
