Moses speaks to his fellow Israelites:
When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; and when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: but because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto you fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; and repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.-Deuteronomy 7:1-11***Miriam was the older sister of Aaron and Moses. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam died in Kadesh in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron died. Shortly thereafter, Moses began proclaiming his final messages to the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Moses identified the nations that the Israelites were to destroy and repeated the commands that the Lord God gave regarding marriages between Israelites and the idol worshipers from those nations. Moses described and gave details about the relationship between the Lord God and Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), Isaac, and Jacob (Israel), the ancestors of the Israelites. The ancestral line of the Perizzites is not specifically revealed in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible. The Canaanites, Girgashites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites descended from Canaan. Canaan was born to Ham, and Ham was born to Noah the ark builder. Moreover, the Hittites descended from Canaan. In some verses of the Holy Bible, the Hittites are referred to as the sons, daughters, or children of Heth. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor from the tribe of Ephraim, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 1,300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 12:1-16, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
