...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Reference information, background information and links connecting the people and places are given to help you find a place to begin reading the Bible for yourself.

Galore Can Be Yours

And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel. And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred. And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes. And it shall be if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.-Numbers 10:29-32***When Moses was 80 years old and his brother Aaron was 83, the Lord God sent them to lead the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery towards Canaan, the Promised Land. The Lord God went before Moses, Aaron, their fellow Israelites, and those with them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night, guiding his treasured and chosen people. Months after leaving Egypt and crossing the divinely parted Red Sea, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments for the Israelites. At the end of Moses' 1st stay with the Lord God upon Mount Sinai for 40 days and nights, the Lord God gave Moses, 2 stone tablets whereupon were written, with the finger of God, the Ten Commandments. When Moses returned to the Israelites and saw the Israelites worshiping a golden calf, Moses broke the 2 stone tablets. Shortly thereafter, Moses spoke to the Lord God. Moses asked the Lord God for assurance that his presence would continue to go with them, and Moses asked to be shown the glory of the Lord God. Before leaving the Sinai region during the 2nd year of their journey, Moses spoke to Hobab, his in-law. Hobab was a Midianite, a descendant of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and his 2nd wife Keturah, and their son Midian. The Israelites descended from Abraham and his 1st wife Sarah (Sarai), their son Isaac and his wife Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). During the 40th year of their journey to the Promised Land, Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo.  The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 1,300 years after Jacob died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 10:1-36, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Then Rab-shakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria: Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand: Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern: Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, the LORD will deliver us.-2 Kings 18:28-32***Over 300 years after Joshua led his fellow Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign. David, from the tribe of Judah, became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Hezekiah was the 12th king to rule Judah. During Hezekiah's reign, King Sennacherib, ruler of Assyria, captured the fortified cities throughout Judah. Hezekiah  took the silver and gold from the royal palace and the temple of the Lord, including the gold from the doors and doorposts of the temple, to pay Sennacherib to leave. However, since Sennacherib still wanted Jerusalem, Sennacherib sent messengers and an army to Hezekiah. Hezekiah's great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin and his family, to Babylon. During the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 400 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the birth tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 7:20-29, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Isaiah 36:1-39:8, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Propheteer$

From a letter written by the apostle Paul,
with Timothy,
to believers in Corinth and the surrounding regions:

Now when I went to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and found that the Lord had opened a door for me, I still had no peace of mind, because I did not find my brother Titus there. So, I said good-bye to them and went on to Macedonia. But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.-2 Corinthians 2:12-17(NIV)***The Second Epistle to the Corinthians in the Holy Bible is another divinely inspired  message written and sent by the apostle Paul (Saul) to believers in the Roman province of Corinth, present-day Greece. Paul's letter described the comfort the Lord God offers and the comfort of Jesus the Christ, the Son of God. Over 35 years earlier, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven. Initially, Paul did not believe Jesus to be the Christ. Throughout Jerusalem, Paul persecuted and imprisoned any Israelite who believed Jesus to be the Christ of God. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus, Syria, to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus Paul was baptized. From thenceforward Paul the apostle journeyed and wrote divinely inspired letters, teaching Israelites and Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes, the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life. In the letter to the Corinthians, Paul revealed information regarding the veil, the life of Jesus, the judgment seat, situations experienced, repentance, bountifulness, preaching, false teachings, the 3rd heaven, the power of God, and the collection of money being gathered by Titus. Titus was not an Israelite. Timothy's father was not an Israelite. Timothy's mother Eunice was an Israelite. Paul was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin.-Genesis 1:1-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, 11:19-28:31, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon

You'll See

Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse. As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.-Daniel 1:9-20***King Jehoiakim was the 17th king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem, the royal city, and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin, Daniel (Belteshazzar), and Hananiah (Shadrach), Mishael (Meshach), and Azariah (Abednego), to Babylon. All of the young Israelite men deemed perfect in form, features, intellect, and status were brought to Nebuchadnezzar's palace and educated for 3 years to serve in the palace. Moreover, the young Israelite men were given the same food and wine to consume that was served to Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel made a dietary request for himself and his 3 friends. Sometime thereafter, Nebuchadnezzar learned that Daniel could understand and give the details and interpretations of visions and dreams. Meanwhile, during the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 100 years earlier, the Assyrians invaded the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land, took many Israelites to Assyria, and conquered the royal city, Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Isralites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem,  Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the birth tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:12-23, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Jeremiah 27:1-22, 29:1-32, 34:1-22, 39:1-18, 52:1-34, Ezra, Daniel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

The Way, the Truth and the Life

The Words of
Jesus the Christ,
the Son of God:

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the lie: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.-John 14:1-7***Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. On the 8th day after Jesus was born, was circumcised. At least 40 days after Jesus was born, Joseph, Mary and Jesus were in Jerusalem in Judea. After Joseph heard a message from an angel of the Lord, Joseph, Mary and Jesus stayed in Egypt for a short while. After Joseph heard another message from an angel of the Lord, Joseph, Mary and Jesus began journeying to Judea, and journeyed to Nazareth in Galilee after Joseph received a divine warning. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that other children lived in the household. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. While speaking to a multitude, Jesus explained that before he lived with Joseph and Mary, he was with his Father, the Lord God in heaven.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

N-O Means Don't Go

And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly. And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned. And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper. Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies. For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you. But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp. Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.-Numbers 14:39-45***In the desert wilderness of Paran, Moses sent 1 man from each Israelite tribe, except the tribe of Levi, to explore Canaan, the Promised Land. The 12 spies went from Kadesh Barnea in the desert wilderness of Paran, to the desert wilderness of Zin in the south, to the land of Rehob in the north, journeying a total of 40 days. The spies returned with grapes, pomegranates and figs, and a report of strong, gigantic people and huge cities. Caleb the spy was ready to conquer the land. Ten of the other spies spread fear and gave details about the Canaanite inhabitants. The Israelites cried and spoke of returning to Egypt. Over 1 year earlier, Moses and his older brother Aaron led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. Joshua was a warrior, and Moses' aide, and 1 of the spies. Caleb and Joshua described the goodness they saw in the land and spoke of the Lord God. The Israelites wanted to stone Joshua and Caleb. The Lord God wanted to strike the Israelites with a plague. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that it was the 2nd time the Lord God was willing to destroy the Israelites and have a great nation come forth from Moses. However, Moses intervened on behalf of the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God, and proclaimed reasons to the Lord God, and the Lord God forgave the Israelites. The Lord God told Moses that the men who had seen the plagues he had brought upon the Egyptians, and the miracles he had performed for the Israelites in the desert wilderness would not see or enter the Promised Land. Afterwards, the Lord God bought a plague of death upon the 10 fearful spies, and the Israelites admitted they had sinned. During the 40th year of the journey to the Promised Land, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua was Moses' successor and led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Over 1,300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 11:1-35, 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, 32:1-42, Deuteronomy 1:1-6:25 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 14:6-15, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Look, See, He's Trying to Start with Me

And Ben-hadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and there were thirty and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots: and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it. And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Ben-hadad, Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine. And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I am thine, and all that I have. And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaketh Ben-hadad, saying, Although I have sent unto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children; Yet I will send my servants unto thee to morrow about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away. Then the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, Mark, I pray you, and see how this man seeketh mischief: for he sent unto me for my wives, and for my children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I denied him not.-1 Kings 20:1-7***King Ahab was an Israelite and the 7th king to reign over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land. Ahab's wife Jezebel was a Sidonian (Zidonian) princesss. Ahab kept Jezebel informed of the goings-on throughout the kingdom. However, Jezebel was not around when Elijah, a prophet of the Lord God, challenged the idol worshiping prophets Jezebel and Ahab supported. Jezebel also was not present when Elijah had the idolatrous prophets captured and killed. Jezebel's vengeful vow was so frightening that Elijah ran away. Ahab possibly put himself in a position to lose Jezebel after he initially agreed to the demands of Ben-hadad, the Syrian (Aramean) king who came to Samaria, the royal city, with his army and a vast military force.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

  ************************************************

And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress? And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow. So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son. And it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth within upon his flesh. Then he said, God do so and more also to me, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day. But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away mine head? look, when the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his master's feet behind him?-2 Kings 6:26-32***When King Ahab was ruling the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land, the Lord God sent Elijah the prophet to proclaim messages to Ahab. After Ahab died from wounds he received in a battle against Ben-Hadad and the Syrians (Arameans), Ahaziah, the son born to Ahab and Jezebel, became the 8th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. After Ahaziah died, Ahab and Jezebel's son Joram (Jehoram) became the 9th king to rule over all of the Israelites. After Elijah went up into heaven by a whirlwind,  Elijah's successor Elisha the prophet proclaimed the words of the Lord God to Joram. During Joram's reign, King Ben-Hadad, ruler of Syria, launched another attack against Samaria, the royal city. A blockade was established around Samaria, and the actions of some Israelites within Samaria led Joram to pronounce a vow against Elisha. Over 800 years after Jehu, an Israelite army captain, became the 10th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-13:25, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Scared Faith

Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews. Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's ring: for the writing which is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, may no man reverse. Then were he king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language. And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus' name, and sealed it with the king's ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and young dromedaries: Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves  together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey, Upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, namely, upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar. The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves on their enemies. So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king's commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace. And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad. The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour. And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.-Esther 8:7-17*** Haman was not an Israelite (Hebrew/Jew), nor did Haman worship the Lord God. King Ahasuerus (Xerxes), ruler of the Persian Empire, positioned Haman as his highest ranking nobleman and commanded the royal officials at the palace gates to bow and pay reverence to Haman. Mordecai was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac  and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Haman learned that Mordecai refused to bow or pay respect to him, and Haman wanted to demolish the entire Israelite population. With Ahasuerus' authority and ring, Haman drafted and signed an order authorizing the killing of every Israelite person and the seizure of everything the Israelites owned. A message from Mordecai to his cousin Queen Esther, the wife of Ahasuerus, resulted in a separate order being written by Esther and sealed by Esther with Ahasuerus' ring. Over 400 years after Mordecai and Esther helped save the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Judah was the 4th son born to Jacob and his 1st wife Leah.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, Esther, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.-Matthew 27:50-54***Approximately 30 years after Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and born to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the disciple and apostle. Jesus was arrested, and appeared before Annas, the father-in-law of Caiaphas, the Israelite high priest. Afterwards, Jesus appeared before Caiaphas and the Sanhedrin, the high court of the Israelites (Hebrews/Jews). Immediately thereafter, Jesus appeared before Pontius Pilate, the governor ruling Judea for the Roman Empire, and Jesus appeared before Herod Antipas, the governor ruling Galilee for the Romans. Jesus was taken to Pilate again, and then Jesus the Christ was crucified. A centurion, a military officer in the Roman army typically responsible for 100 men in his command, was among those who stood on guard. Joseph of Arimathea, a secret disciple of Jesus the Christ, and Nicodemus, a Pharisee, prepared the body of Jesus for burial. On the 3rd day after Jesus was crucified, Jesus was resurrected. Jesus was seen by over 500 people, and on the 40th day after Jesus was resurrected, Jesus returned to heaven.-Genesis 11:29-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
