...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Big Bro

And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt, That the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee. And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me? And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them. And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they. And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.-Exodus 6:28-7:7 ***Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), Nahor, Haran, and Sarah (Sarai) were born to Terah. Abraham married Sarah. When Abraham was 100 years old, Isaac was born to Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. When Isaac was 40 years old, he married his cousin Rebekah, Nahor's granddaughter. When Isaac was 60 years old, fraternal twins son Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to Isaac and Rebekah. Decades thereafter, Jacob married Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and Rachel. Esau was Isaac's favorite, Jacob was Rebekah's favorite, and Rachel and Joseph were Jacob's favorites. When Joseph was at least 17 years old, his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt and led Jacob to believe that Joseph was killed by an animal. The merchants sold Joseph to Potiphar, an Egyptian official. Joseph became the top servant in Potiphar's home, and a trusted prisoner in the king's prison, and second-in-command in Egypt. During a famine, Jacob sent his sons from Canaan to Egypt to guy grain. After the 2nd time Jacob sent his sons to Egypt, Joseph identified himself to his brothers and told them to move with their families, including Jacob, to Egypt. Moreover, Pharaoh welcomed 130-year-old Jacob and his family to Egypt. When Jacob was 147 years old, he died in Egypt and his body was buried in Canaan. Sometime after Joseph and his siblings were dead, Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi to Amram and Jochebed. Moses was hidden by his parents until Jochebed placed 3-month-old Moses in a specially prepared ark and set the ark amid the vegetation by the river. The daughter of Pharaoh saw the ark and sent her maiden to get the ark. Miriam spoke to Pharaoh's daughter and arranged for Jochebed to be hired to nurse Moses. After Moses was weaned, Jochebed took Moses to Pharaoh's daughter. Moses was named and raised by Pharaoh's daughter, and Moses was educated  according to his status among the Egyptians. When Moses was 40 years old, he killed an Egyptian. The next day after the murder was mentioned to Moses, Moses left Egypt and began living in Midian. Moses married Zipporah, a Midianite woman, and worked as a shepherd for Zipporah's father Jethro (Reuel). When Moses was 80 years old and near Mount Horeb, Moses saw a fiery sight and heard the Lord God calling him. The Lord God spoke to Moses and Moses spoke to and questioned the Lord God. The Lord God sent Moses and 83-year-old Aaron to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam died and was buried in Kadesh in the desert wilderness of Zin. When Aaron was 123 years old, Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor. Upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses'  successor, was from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim,  whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 1,300 years after Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Sometime after Jesus was born, Joseph, Mary and Jesus stayed in Egypt, according to the words that an angel of the Lord spoke to Joseph. After an angel of the Lord spoke instructions to Joseph in another dream, Joseph, Mary and Joseph departed from Egypt and lived in Nazareth in Galilee.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4
