Boaz the Israelite meets Ruth the Moabite:

And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz. And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter. And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech. Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens: Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn. Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed. And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz. And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. Boaz, Ruth and David:

So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron, And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon, And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed, And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.-Ruth 4:13-22***Boaz was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Noah the ark builder, Noah's son Shem, Shem's great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Terah, Terah's children Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), their son Isaac and his wife Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. The Canaanites descended from Noah's son Ham, and Ham's son Canaan. The Moabites descended from Abraham and Sarah's nephew Lot and Lot's oldest daughter and their son Moab. In the region of Adullam, Judah was married to a Canaanite woman, and Er, Onan and Shelah were born to Judah and his wife. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Er was wicked and the Lord God put Er to death, and Onan performed an act that displeased the Lord God, and the Lord God put Onan to death. Sometime after Judah's wife died, Judah was unknowingly intimate with Tamar, the widow of Er and Onan. Twin sons Pharez and Zarah (Perez and Zerah) were born to Judah and Tamar. Boaz's mother Rahab (Rachab?) is widely regarded to be the former harlot in Jericho. Boaz became the husband of  Ruth, the Moabite widow who had been married to Boaz's relative Mahlon, a son born to Elimelech and Naomi. Obed was born to Boaz and Naomi, and Jesse was born to Obed. David was the 8th son born to Jesse. Over a decade after David was born, Samuel the priest, 

prophet and judge from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi, anointed David to reign as king over the Israelites in the Promised Land, according to the command of the Lord God. When David was 30 years old, he began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. When David was 37 1/2 years old, he became the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob,

and their descendants. Over 900 years after Solomon, a son born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to rule over all of the Israelites, and 70-year-old David died, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Naomi and her family

Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehem-judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons. And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehem-judah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there. And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons. And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years. And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband. Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread. Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.-Ruth 1:1-7***Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai) were living among their family in Ur, in southern Mesopotamia, when the Lord God appeared to Abraham and told him to go out from his country and kin and come into the land he would be shown. Abraham and Sarah journeyed away from Ur with their father Terah, and nephew Lot, and began living in Haran, in northern Mesopotamia. Sometime after 205-year-old Terah died in Haran, 75-year-old Abraham, 65-year-old Sarah and Lot journeyed with their servants and possessions to Canaan, land inhabited by idolaters that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham's descendants and childless Abraham. The Lord God said he would make Abraham a great nation, and bless Abraham, and make Abraham's name great, and Abraham shall be a blessing. The Lord God told Abraham that he would bless those who blessed Abraham, and curse those who cursed Abraham, and in Abraham shall all the families of the earth be blessed. During a famine, Abraham, Sarah and Lot went to Egypt, and they returned to Canaan with Abraham bringing the servants and animals that Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave him. Ishmael was born to 86-year-old Abraham and Hagar, Sarah's Egyptian maidservant. Isaac was born to 100-year-old Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. When Isaac was 40 years old, he was married to Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. Fraternal twins sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to 60-year-old Isaac and Rebekah. During a famine, the Lord God appeared to Isaac and told Isaac not to go to Egypt. The Lord God told Isaac to live in the land he would tell him. The Lord God told Isaac to live in Canaan, and the Lord God told Isaac he would be with Isaac, and bless Isaac, and give Canaan to Isaac and Isaac's descendants, and would confirm the oath that he swore to Abraham. The Lord God told Isaac he would multiply Isaac's descendants as the stars in the sky, and give Canaan to Isaac's descendants, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in Isaac's descendants. Esau was Isaac's favorite son, and Jacob was Rebekah's favorite. After Rebekah prompted Jacob to deceive Isaac, and cheat Esau, and learned that Esau planned to killed Jacob, she spoke words to Isaac that led him to send Jacob from their home in Beersheba, Canaan, to Rebekah's family in Padan Aram, Haran. During the journey, while Jacob was asleep and dreaming in Bethel (Luz), Canaan, Jacob saw the angels of God and saw and heard the Lord God speaking to him. The Lord God identified himself, and told Jacob that he will give Canaan to Jacob and Jacob's descendants, and said Jacob's descendants shall be like the dust of the earth, and Jacob shall spread abroad to the west, east, north, and south, and in Jacob and Jacob's descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed. During Jacob's 7th year in Haran, he was married to Leah and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian (Aramean). Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel and Joseph were Jacob's favorites. During Jacob's 20th year in Haran, he began journeying home to Canaan with his family, servants, animals, and possessions. Near Bethlehem, Benjamin was born to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel died. Joseph was 17 years old when his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt and led Jacob to believe that Joseph was killed by a wild beast, and Joseph was 30 years old when Pharaoh proclaimed Joseph second-in-command.  After the 2nd time that Joseph's brothers were in Egypt during a famine to buy corn (grain), Joseph identified himself to them and told his brothers to move to Egypt with their families, including Jacob. Pharaoh heard about the reunion and expressed his generosity and hospitality. In Beersheba, Jacob offered sacrifices to the Lord God, and the Lord God spoke to 130-year-old Jacob. In Egypt, Jacob proclaimed Manasseh and Ephraim, the sons born to Jacob and his wife Asenath, to be his own sons, and the tribe of Joseph became the tribe of Manasseh and the tribe of Ephraim. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt, and Jacob's family buried his body in Canaan, and 110-year-old Joseph and his siblings were dead, their descendants the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, the Lord God sent them to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Pharaoh told Moses and Aaron to get the Israelites and their animals and go worship the Lord God. Moreover, Pharaoh told Moses and Aaron to bless him. Before Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, the Israelites asked for and were given an abundance of valuable goods, fulfilling the words that the Lord God spoke to Abraham. In the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites, and the Lord God made a covenant with the Israelites, and the Lord God said they would obey the words of the Lord God. When Moses was upon Mount Sinai 40 days and nights with the Lord God, the Lord God gave Moses commands about the offering willing Israelites were to bring, and the Lord God described to Moses and showed Moses the likeness of the tabernacle, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the other sacred items the Israelites were to make, and the Lord God told Moses that only Aaron, and Aaron's sons and the sons born to their descendants were to serve the Lord God as priests. Meanwhile, the Israelites thought they were abandoned and told Aaron to make gods to lead them. Aaron told the Israelites to bring him their gold earrings, and Aaron made a golden calf that the Israelites worshiped and Moses burned and ground. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam the prophetess died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron the high priest died. Near the Promised Land, Moses recounted the history of the Israelites, and the commandments, judgments, statutes, and laws, and Moses told the Israelites about the blessings that would come upon and overtake them in the Promised Land if they listened to and obeyed the voice of the Lord God accomplished all of the commandments, and the curses, including famine, that would come upon and overtake them if they did not listen to the voice of the Lord God and did not accomplish all of the commandments. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses the prophet died, and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' aide and successor from the tribe of Ephraim, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendant, Over 200 years after 110-year-old Joshua died, and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Elimelech and Naomi were living in Bethlehem, in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Judah. During a famine, Elimelech and Naomi journeyed with their sons Mahlon and Chilion to stay amid the Moabites, the descendants of Lot and Lot's oldest daughter and their son Moab. Elimelech died, and Mahlon was married to Ruth, a Moabite, and Chilion was married to Orpah, a Moabite, and no children were born to them. Sometime after Mahlon and Chilion died, Naomi heard that the Lord God was providing for the Israelites, she began journeying towards Bethlehem with Ruth and Orpah. After a gentle prodding and tearful goodbye, Orpah returned to the Moabites. Ruth arrived in Bethlehem with Naomi, and became the wife of Boaz, Elimelech's wealthy relative from the tribe of Judah. Obed was born to Boaz and Ruth, and Jesse was born to Obed, and David was the 8th son born to Jesse. Over a decade after David was born, the Lord God sent Samuel, the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Levi, to Bethlehem to anoint David to reign as king. Naomi and Ruth

Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor. Er, Onan and Shelah were born to Judah and his wife, a Canaanite woman. Judah arranged a marriage between Er and Tamar. After Er was wicked and struck dead by the Lord God, Judah told Onan to marry Tamar and produce an heir for Er. After Onan was wicked and the Lord God killed Onan, Judah led Tamar to believe that Shelah would be her husband. When Tamar realized such a marriage was not going to occur, she succeeded with a different motherhood plan. Over 700 years after twin sons Pharez and Zarah (Perez and Zerah) were born to Judah and Tamar, Mahlon and Chilion were born to Elimelech and Naomi. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that after Elimelech died, Mahlon married Ruth, Chilion married Orpah, and Mahlon and Chilion died. Naomi had no other sons and would have no other sons for Ruth to marry. After Ruth spoke to Naomi about working in the field of Naomi's wealthy relative Boaz, a descendant of Pharez and relative of Elimelech, Ruth was noticed by Boaz and became Boaz's wife. Obed was born to Boaz and Ruth, and Jesse was born to Obed, and David was the 8th son born to Jesse. Over a decade after David was born, Samuel, the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi, anointed David to reign as king, according to the command of the Lord God. Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;) Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.-Esther 2:12-13***After Queen Vashti disobeyed her husband King Ahasuerus (Xerxes), ruler of the Persian Empire, and refused to come and stand before him and his guests, Ahasuerus followed advice, and the loveliest young virgins throughout the 127 provinces of his kingdom were brought to Shushan in order to crown a new queen. Ahasuerus chose and married Esther, an Israelite (Hebrew/Jew), a descendant of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Over 400 years after Esther and Mordecai, her cousin and guardian, helped save the lives of the Israelites throughout the kingdom, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
