...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Reference information, background information and links connecting the people and places are given to help you find a place to begin reading the Bible for yourself.

Duration of the Situation

And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly. And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years. And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt: But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said. And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.-Genesis 47:27-31***Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and maidservant Bilhah. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and maidservant Zilpah.  Joseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and his 2nd and favorite wife Rachel. When Joseph was at least 17 years old, his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt, and the brothers led Jacob to believe that Joseph was killed by a beast. The merchants sold Joseph to Potiphar, an Egyptian official. Joseph became the top servant in Potiphar's home and served Potiphar until the false claim of Potiphar's wife led Potiphar to imprison Joseph. In prison, Joseph explained the meaning of at least 2 dreams. Less than 3 years thereafter, when Joseph was 30 years old, Joseph was taken from prison, shaved, dressed, and was brought before Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, to explain the meaning of 2 dreams. Immediately after Joseph explained the dreams and spoke advisedly to Pharaoh, Pharaoh proclaimed Joseph to be second-in-command in Egypt. Pharaoh gave Joseph a different name and Asenath, the daughter of an Egyptian priest, for a wife. Seven years after Joseph became second-in-command, a worldwide famine occurred, and Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, and Zebulun came to Egypt from Canaan and spoke and interacted with Joseph, without recognizing Joseph. Before Joseph allowed his brothers to return to Jacob and their families, Joseph accused his brothers of being spies. Joseph demanded that they bring Benjamin to Egypt, and Joseph imprisoned his brothers for 3 days. Afterwards, Joseph kept Simeon imprisoned, and gave his other brothers corn, provisions and the money they brought with them to Egypt, and the brothers returned to Canaan. While the famine continued, Joseph's brothers returned to Egypt with Benjamin. Joseph spoke and interacted with his brothers again and set a trap. When Joseph's brothers were returning to Canaan, Joseph sent his steward to bring his brothers back, and Joseph spoke and interacted with his brothers, identified himself to them, and explained the will of the Lord God to his brothers. Joseph gave his brothers words to speak to Jacob, and told his brothers to bring Jacob and their families and possessions to Egypt and enjoy the benefits he was able to provide. Moreover, Pharaoh spoke similar words and provided for the journey. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Jacob began living in Egypt when he was 130 years old and lived in Egypt until he died 17 years after leaving Canaan, the Promised Land. Joseph and his brothers buried  Jacob's body in Canaan, in the cave on land bought by Jacob's grandfather Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) after Abraham's wife Sarah (Sarai), Jacob's grandmother, died. Sarah, Abraham, their son Isaac, Isaac's wife Rebekah, and Leah were also buried in the cave. Isaac and Rebekah were Jacob's parents. Rachel was buried near Bethlehem  (Ephrath). Over 1,600 years after Joseph and his siblings died in Egypt and their descendants the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem, into the tribe of Judah, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Less than 33 1/2 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the disciple and apostle. Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb outside of Jerusalem, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 26:1-27:23, Deuteronomy 31:1-34:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra 1:1-11, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Them, too

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I  am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?-John 10:7-21***When 147-year-old Jacob (Israel) blessed his sons Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin before he died in Egypt and his body was buried in Canaan, the Promised Land, Jacob proclaimed the Lord God to be the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel. Over 1,700 years after Joseph and his siblings died in Egypt and their descendants the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Jesus healed a multitude of Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes. Jesus identified himself as the Son of man, the bread of life, the living bread, the light of the world, the resurrection and the life, the way and the truth and the life, the vine, the true vine, the door of the sheep, the good shepherd, Messiah who is called Christ, and the Son of God.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Reference Scriptures:
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.-John 9:1...When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.-John 9:6-7...Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.-John 9:10-11

Questions in Succession

From the words that the Lord God
spoke to Job:

Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve? Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth? They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows. Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them. Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass? Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings. He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver. The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.-Job 39:1-8

Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow?  or will he harrow the valleys after thee? Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?-Job 39:9-12

Gavest thou the goodly wings  unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; Because God hath deprived her  of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding. What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.-Job 39:13-18

Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder? Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible. He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men. He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword. The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield. He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet. He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.-Job 39:19-25

Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south? Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off. Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.-Job 39:26-30

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.-John 1:1-3

Certain Men

From the Epistle of Jude
in the New Testament of the Holy Bible,
written sometime after
was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb,
resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven:

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.-Jude 1:1-4

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.-Jude 1:1-13

Reference Information:
Core = Kore = Qorach/Qarach= Korah

gainsaying = antilogia/antilego = rebellion, contradictoriness, disputatiousness

lasciviousness = aselgeian/aselgeia = wanton violence, debauchery, sensuality

Reference Scriptures:
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.-Genesis 4:8

Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.-Genesis 19:24-25

And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.-Exodus 12:51

I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die. And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land, Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.-Numbers 14:35-37

Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?-Numbers 16:1-3

And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.-Numbers 22:7

And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:-Deuteronomy 29:23

So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.-Deuteronomy 34:5-6

And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,-Luke 3:23...Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.-Luke 3:38

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;-2 Peter 2:4

Relatively Speaking

The tribe of Manasseh and the land allotted
to them in the Promised Land and on
the other side of the Jordan River:

There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the firstborn of Joseph; to wit, for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan. There was also a lot for the rest of the children of Manasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families. But Zelophed, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters: and these are the names of his daughters, Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father. And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan, which were on the other side Jordan; Because the daughters of Manasseh had an inheritance among his sons: and the rest of Manasseh's sons had the land of Gilead.-Joshua 17:1-6

Reference Scriptures:
And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him. And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.-Genesis 41:50-51

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names. To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him. Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.-Numbers 26:52-55

Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.-Numbers 27:1...Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father. And Moses brought their cause before the LORD. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; any thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.-Numbers 27:4-7

And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.-Deuteronomy 3:13

And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,-Luke 3:23...Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.-Luke 3:38

Nope

Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian. And Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: the LORD shall rule over you. And Gideon said unto them, I would desire a request of you, that ye would give me every man the earrings of his prey. (For they had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.) And they answered, We will willingly give them. And they spread a garment, and did cast therein every man the earrings of his prey. And the weight of the golden earrings that he requested was a thousand and seven hundred shekels of gold; beside ornaments, and collars, and purple raiment that was on the kings of Midian, and beside the chains that were about their camels' necks. And Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to his house. Thus was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon. And Jerubbaal the son of Joash went and dwelt in his own house. And Gideon the son of Joash died in a good old age, and was buried in the sepulchre of Joash his father, in Ophrah of the AbiezritesAnd it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baal-berith their god.  And the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every side: Neither shewed they kindness to the house of Jerubbaal, namely, Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had shewed unto Israel.-Judges 8:22-35***Gideon (Jerubbaal) was an Israelite from the tribe of Manasseh, and the clan of Abiezer, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and his 1st wife Sarah (Sarai), their son Isaac and his wife Rebekah, Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's firstborn son Manasseh, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. Gideon and the Israelites in his clan lived upon the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. A succession of judges led the Israelites. However, after the death of each judge, the Israelites did not obey the commandments, judgments, statutes, and laws that the Lord God gave to Moses for the Israelites. The Midianites were descendants of Abraham and his 2nd wife Keturah. When the Israelites were being terrorized by the Midianites and other enemies, the angel of the Lord appeared and spoke to Gideon. When the Midianites and their allies prepared to battle the Israelites, Gideon spoke to the Lord God and sought assurance of victory. The Lord God gave Gideon commands regarding the number of men to involve in the battle and commands for hearing details of the forthcoming victory. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Midianites, Amalekites and their allies fought each other, according to the will of the Lord God, and Gideon led the Israelites to further success against the Midianites. Sometime thereafter, Gideon made a golden item similar to the ephods that were to be made only for the priests, the sons born to the descendants of Moses' older brother Aaron. Over 1,100 years after Gideon died and his son Abimelech killed Gideon's other sons and ruled over some of the Israelites,  Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born  into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Judah was the 4th son born to Jacob and his 1st wife Leah. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi, the birth tribe of Aaron and Moses. Some of the Israelites in Galilee wanted to seize Jesus and make him king.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 26:28-37, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 7:14-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, Hebrews 11:1-40

Reference Scripture:
Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and the they brought Joseph into Egypt.-Genesis 37:28

Some Explaining

buried in a tomb, Jesus was resurrected
and appeared to Mary Magdalene:

From the Gospel of Mark in the Holy Bible:
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he  appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. And they when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.-Mark 16:9-11

From the Gospel of John in the Holy Bible:
But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.-John 20:11-18

Picture This

Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him, And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.-John 18:12-14***When Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was with his 12 disciples and apostles at the Last Supper, and Jesus had washed each man's feet, Judas Iscariot left to betray Jesus. Simon Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James (Alphaeus' son), Lebbaeus (Judas?) Thaddaeus, and Simon the Cananaean went with Jesus to Gethsemane, at the Mount of Olives. Simon Peter, James and John went a farther distance with Jesus, and Jesus went a farther distance without them 3 times. Jesus returned to the disciples, and Judas Iscariot approached with an armed group sent from the chief priests, scribes, elders, and temple officials. Jesus was arrested. After Simon Peter cut off the ear of Malchus, the servant of the high priest, Jesus performed a healing miracle, the 11 disciples ran away, and the arresters took Jesus to Annas, the previous high priest. Afterwards, Jesus was taken to Caiaphas, and Pontius Pilate, the governor of Judea for the Roman Empire. Pontius Pilate sent Jesus to Herod Antipas the tetrarch, ruler of Galilee for the Roman Empire. Jesus was ridiculed and regally dressed, and Herod Antipas returned Jesus to Pontius Pilate. Jesus was flogged, sent away with soldiers, undressed, mockingly dressed, mocked, beaten, spat upon, redressed, and crucified at Golgatha. Pontius Pilate allowed Joseph of Arimathea, a secret disciple of Jesus the Christ, to take the crucified body of Jesus. Joseph and Nicodemus wrapped and prepared the body of Jesus for burial, and placed the body of Jesus in the new, unused tomb Joseph owned. Jesus was resurrected on the 3rd day after his burial. Before Jesus returned to heaven 40 days after his resurrection, Jesus appeared and spoke to Mary Magdalene, and Simon Peter and the other disciples, and Cleopas and the person walking with Cleopas, and Jesus appeared to over 500 believers.

Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.-Luke 3:2

And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.-John 11:49-52

He Wrote, and He Similarly Wrote

From the Book of Zechariah in the Holy Bible:

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.-Zechariah 9:9

From the Gospel of Matthew in the Holy Bible:

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethpage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.-Matthew 21:1-11

And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost,  that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.-Luke 2:25-32

Always and Forever

A message the Lord God
revealed to Micah the prophet:

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoke it. For all people will walk  every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever
.-Micah 4:1-7***Micah and Isaiah were Israelites and prophets of the Lord God. In the Promised Land, when King Jotham and his son King Ahaz and Ahaz's son King Hezekiah successively reigned in Jerusalem over Judah, and other Israelites reigned in Samaria over the northern nation of Israel, Micah and Isaiah received visions and messages from the Lord God for the Israelites. Moreover, Isaiah received visions and messages from the Lord God during the reign of Jotham's father King Uzziah (Azariah), the 9th king to rule Judah,
Micah and Isaiah declared the words of the Lord God regarding the last days, nations, judgment, idols, peacefulness, fulfillment of the word of the Lord, Zion, daughter of Zion, Mount Zion and the reign of the Lord.
Approximately 700 years after Isaiah and Micah revealed the last messages they received from the Lord God, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Jesus spoke of the end of the age, and the activities of nations, and judgment, and false Christs and prophets, and peace, and the word of God, and Jesus fulfilled the words spoken by Zechariah the prophet regarding the rejoicing of the daughter of Zion.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Isaiah, Micah, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
