...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Romans 15:4 (KJV) reveals: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Reference information, background information and links connecting the people and places are given to help you find a place to begin reading the Bible for yourself.

His Ma

King Ahaziah

Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri. He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counseller to do wickedly. Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellers after the death of his father to his destruction. He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead: and the Syrians smote Joram. And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.-2 Chronicles 22:2-6

And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab. And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them. And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.-2 Chronicles 22:7-9***King Jehoshaphat and King Ahab were Israelites descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were Israelites from the tribe of Levi, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah and their 3rd born son Levi. Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83 when they led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, into the desert wilderness of Shur, and the desert wilderness of Sin, and the desert wilderness of Sinai, according to the commands of the Lord God. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam the prophetess died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron the high priest died. The Reubenites, the Israelites in the tribe of Reuben, descended from Jacob and Leah's firstborn son Reuben. The Gadites, the Israelites in the tribe of Gad, descended from Jacob and Zilpah and their firstborn son Gad. Zilpah was Leah's maidservant. Near Canaan, the Reubenites and Gadites asked to be given some of the land recently conquered. Moses spoke to the Reubenites and Gadites, and after they agreed to the terms presented, Moses gave the tribe of Reuben and the tribe of Gad and 1/2 the tribe of Manasseh the land requested. Ramoth-gilead was within the region given to the Gadites, and was a city of refuge, and was given to the Kohathites, the Levites descended from Levi's son Kohath. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses the prophet died, and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' aide and successor from the tribe of Ephraim, was descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. After the Lord God spoke to Joshua, and Joshua sent 2 spies to Canaan, and Rahab hid the spies, and the spies returned, Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died, and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign. David, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. Solomon, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, was the 2nd king. During the 4th year of his 40-year reign, Solomon began building the temple of the Lord, and in the 11th year, workers finished building the temple in Jerusalem. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Rehoboam's great-grandson Jehoshaphat was the 4th king to rule Judah, and Jehoshaphat's son Jehoram (Joram) was the 5th king. Omri was the 6th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, and Omri's son Ahab was the 7th king. Ahaziah, a son born to Ahab and his wife Jezebel, was the 8th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, and Ahab and Jezebel's son Jehoram (Joram) was the 9th king. Ahab's daughter Athaliah was married to Jehoshaphat's son Jehoram. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that during the 12th year that Ahab and Jezebel's son Jehoram was ruling the northern nation of Israel, army commander Jehu was anointed and became the 10th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Jehu killed Ahab and Jezebel's son Jehoram, and Jehu gave a command, and Jezebel was thrown down and died. The male descendants in Ahab's royal family were killed, and Ahab's idol worshiping priests and close acquaintances were killed, and 42 visitors from Judah were killed, and Ahab and Jezebel's false prophets were killed. After Ahaziah's death, Athaliah began putting her royal descendants to death. Ahaziah's 1-year-old son Joash (Jehoash) was rescued by Ahaziah's sister Jehosheba (Jehoshabeath) and remained hidden 6 years within the priests' bedchambers in the temple, under the supervision of Jehosheba's husband Jehoiada the priest. Meanwhile, Athaliah became the 1st and only woman, and the only person not descended from David, to rule Judah. Over 800 years after Jehoiada presented Joash as Judah's rightful ruler, and Joash was crowned and anointed, and Athaliah was killed, and Joash ruled for 17 years and was killed, and Amaziah, the son born to Joash and Jehoaddan, became the 8th king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 26:1-27:23,  Deuteronomy 31:1-34:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 2:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra 1:1-11, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Like Father-in-Law, Like Son-in-Law

King Ahaziah, ruler of Judah,
and King Joram (Jehoram),
ruler of the northern nation of Israel

In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign. Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel. And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of the LORD, as did the house of Ahab: for he was the son in law of the house of Ahab. And he went with Joram the son of Ahab to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramoth-gilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram. And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.-2 Kings 8:25-29***Ahab the Israelite was married to Jezebel, a Sidonian (Zidonian) princess. Jehoshaphat was the great-great-great-grandson of King David and Bathsheba. David was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that in Padan Aram, Haran, Jacob was married to Leah and her younger sister Rachel. Judah, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel and Joseph were Jacob's favorites. During Jacob's 20th year in Haran, he began journeying home to Canaan with his family, servants, animals, and possessions. Near Bethlehem, Benjamin was born to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel died. Joseph was 17 years old when his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt and led Jacob to believe that Joseph was killed by a wild beast, and Joseph was 30 years old when Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, proclaimed him second-in-command. Jacob was 130 years old when he moved with his family from Canaan to Egypt. In Egypt, Jacob proclaimed Manasseh and Ephraim, the sons born to Joseph and his wife Asenath, to be his own sons, and the tribe of Joseph became the tribe of Manasseh and the tribe of Ephraim. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt, and Jacob's family buried his body in Canaan, and 110-year-old Joseph and his siblings were dead, the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi to Amram and Jochebed. Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83 when the Lord God sent them to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh. The elders believed the words of the Lord God spoken by Aaron. Pharaoh did not believe, and he made work for the Israelites more difficult. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Pharaoh told Moses and Aaron to get the Israelites and their animals and go worship the Lord God. Moreover, Pharaoh told Moses and Aaron to bless him. Before Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, into the desert wilderness of Shur, and the desert wilderness of Sin, the Israelites asked for and were given an abundance of valuable goods, fulfilling the words that the Lord God spoke to Abraham. In the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites, and the Lord God made a covenant with the Israelites, and the Israelites said they would obey the words of the Lord God. When Moses was upon Mount Sinai 40 days and nights with the Lord God, the Lord God gave Moses commands about the offering willing Israelites were to bring, and the Lord God described to Moses and showed Moses the likeness of the tabernacle, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the other sacred items the Israelites were commanded to make, and the Lord God told Moses that only Aaron, and Aaron's sons and the sons born to their descendants were to serve the Lord God as priests. Meanwhile, the Israelites thought they were abandoned and told Aaron to make gods to lead them. Aaron told the Israelites to bring him their gold earrings, and Aaron made a golden calf that the Israelites sacrificed to and worshiped, and Moses burned and ground. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam the prophetess died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron the high priest died. Near Canaan, the tribe of Reuben and the tribe of Gad asked to be given some of the land recently conquered. Moses spoke to the Reubenites and Gadites, and after they agreed to the terms presented, Moses gave the tribe of Reuben and the tribe of Gad and 1/2 the tribe of Manasseh the land requested. Over 300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died, and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign. David was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. David and Bathsheba's son Solomon was the 3rd king. During the 4th year of his 40-year reign, Solomon began building the temple of the Lord, and in the 11th year, workers finished building the temple in Jerusalem.  Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Jehoshaphat, Rehoboam's great-grandson, was the 4th king to rule Judah. Omri was the 6th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, and Omri's son Ahab was the 7th king. Ahaziah and Joram (Jehoram) were born to Ahab and Jezebel. Ahaziah was the 8th king, and Joram was the 9th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Ahab's daughter Athaliah was married to Jehoshaphat's son Jehoram (Joram), the 5th king to rule Judah. Jehoram and Athaliah's son Ahaziah was the 6th king to rule Judah. Jehoshaphat only worshiped the Lord God. Omri, Ahab, Jezebel, Joram, Athaliah, Jehoram, and both Ahaziahs worshiped idols. During the 12th year of Joram's reign over the northern nation of Israel, Jehu, an army commander, was anointed and became the 10th king to rule the northern nation of Israel, and killed Jehoram, and was responsible for Jezebel's death, and Jehoram's death. In Judah, Athaliah began putting her royal descendants to death and started ruling the kingdom. Ahaziah's sister Jehosheba (Jehoshabeath) rescued Ahaziah's 1-year-old son Joash (Jehoash), and Jehosheba's husband Jehoiada the priest kept Joash hidden 6 years in the bedchambers in the temple. Over 800 years after Jehoiada presented 7-year-old Joash as the rightful ruler, and Joash was crowned and anointed and became the 7th king to rule Judah, and Athaliah was killed, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Like Father and Mother, Like Son

King Jehoram (Joram)
and King Ahaziah:

Moreover the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians, that were near the Ethiopians: And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons. And after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease. And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers. Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned. Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri. He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly. Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellers after the death of his father to his destruction
.
-2 Chronicles 21:16-22:4***Jehoram (Joram) was born to King Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat was born to King Asa and Azubah. Asa was the great-grandson of King Solomon and Naamah. Solomon was the 2nd child born to King David and Bathsheba. When David was 30 years old, he began to reign as king only over the tribe of Judah in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. When David was 37 1/2 years old, he became the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. Solomon was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. Throughout Solomon's 40-year reign, he was married to 700 idol worshiping princesses from foreign nations, and in the latter portion of Solomon's reign, Solomon became an idolater. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer,
the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city, and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city, and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Judah was sruled by David's descendants, except for the 6-year reign of Athaliah.  Athaliah was Jehoram's wife. Moreover, Athaliah was the daughter of King Ahab, the 7th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, and the granddaughter of Ahab's father King Omri, the 6th king to rule the northern nation. Omri, Ahab and Athaliah worshiped idols. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Omri and Ahab's wickedness surpassed the wickedness of every king who ruled the northern nation of Israel before they reigned. Jezebel was a Sidonian (Zidonian) princess, and an idol worshiper, and 1 of Ahab's wives, and was responsible for the deaths of many prophets of the Lord God. Moreover, Jezebel vowed to kill Elijah the prophet, and plotted so that Naboth, an Israelite landowner from Jezreel, was killed. Although Jezebel was Ahab's wife and Athaliah was Ahab's daughter, Athaliah is not specifically identified as Jezebel's daughter, although their behavior was similar. Ahaziah, the son born to Jehoram and Athaliah, was the 6th king to rule Judah. Jezebel encouraged and prodded Ahab towards wickedness, and Athaliah encouraged and prodded Ahaziah towards wickedness. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's 20-year reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites captive. During the 9th year of the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Less than 125 years after Samaria was conquered, Ahaziah's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) became the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's 11-year reign, the Babylonians invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, was the 18th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiachin's 3-month reign, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin, his wives and mother, to Babylon. During the 11th year of the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah began to reign. Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the LORD.-2 Kings 8:16-18

And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign. And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared by the apothecaries' art: and they made a very great burning for him.-2 Chronicles 16:13-14

Worse Perverse

King Omri

In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah. And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.
But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him. For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities. Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he shewed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.
-1 Kings 16:23-28***Saul was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Samuel the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Levi was descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. When Samuel was elderly, and his sons Joel (Vashni) and Abiah (Abijah) were not obeying the commands of the Lord God, and King Nahash and his Ammonite army were preparing to attack, the Israelite elders demanded that Samuel appoint a king to lead them, and Samuel anointed Saul to reign, according to the command of the Lord God. At least twice, Saul did not obey the commands of the Lord God. While Saul reigned, the Lord God sent Samuel to anoint David, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, to reign as king. When David's skills, strength, appearance, and favor with the Lord God were mentioned to Saul, Saul commanded that David's father Jesse send David to him, and David began serving as a musician and an armor-bearer for Saul. After David killed and beheaded Goliath the gigantic Philistine, David and Jonathan, Saul's son, made a covenant. The Israelite women sang of David higher than they sang of Saul, and Saul was angry. Saul wanted to kill David, and sent David on missions to get killed, and commanded others, including Jonathan, to kill David. Saul's daughter Michal was married to David and helped David escape from their home. After the Philistines killed Jonathan and his brothers Malchishua and Abindab (Ishui?) and Saul's self-inflicted death on the same battlefield, men from the tribe of Judah anointed 30-year-old David, and David began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. Saul's son Ishbosheth (Eshbaal) ruled over the other Israelite tribes. Hebron served as the royal city for David, and Mahanaim was the royal city for Ishbosheth. Sometime after Ishbosheth was murdered, the Israelite elders went to David, and David made a covenant with them. The elders anointed 37-year-old David, and David began to reign over all of the Israelites. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that David put forth a challenge, and David's nephew Joab led the Israelites to defeat the Jebusites and capture the Jebusite fortress, and David moved to the fortress, and it became known as the City of David. Joab became commander of the army, and Jerusalem was developed. Solomon, a son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to rule over all of the Israelites. During his 40-year reign, Solomon revitalized and developed more of the land. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Shechem served as the royal city before Tirzah served as the royal city. Samaria was the final royal city. Less than 140 years after Samaria was conquered, Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) became the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's 11-year reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, was the 18th king. During Jehoiachin's 3-month reign, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin, his wives and mother, to Babylon. During the 11th year of the reign of Jehoiakim's brother Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 7:6-12, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

You're about to Croak from the Smoke

King Zimri

In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines. And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp. And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with fire, and died.
-1 Kings 16:15-18***Asa was the 3rd king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land, and Zimri was the 5th king to rule the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land. Asa was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. Leah's younger sister Rachel was Jacob's 2nd wife. In Padan Aram, Haran, Judah, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83 when they led the Israelites away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, into the desert wilderness of Shur, and the desert wilderness of Sin, and the desert wilderness of Sinai. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam the prophetess died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron the high priest died. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses the prophet died, and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' aide and successor from the tribe of Ephraim, led the Israelites, across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died, and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign. David, from the tribe of Judah, was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. Solomon, a son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king. Judah was the nation in the south and consisted of the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin. Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation and consisted of the other Israelite tribes. Shechem, a city in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Ephraim, served as the royal city before Tirzah was used as the royal city. Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign.
Jeroboam's son Nadab was the 2nd king to rule the northern nation of Israel. Nadab ruled 2 years, was killed by Baasha, and Baasha became the 3rd king to reign. Baasha ruled in Tirzah 24 years and died. Baasha's son Elah, the 4th king, reigned 2 years. Zimri, a top commander, killed Elah when Elah was drunk in Tirzah. One week after Zimri became the 5th king to rule the northern nation of Israel, Omri was made king by 1/2 of the Israelites. Tibni was made king by the other Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Sometime thereafter, Omri became the 6th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Omri reigned in Tirzah, bought strategically located property, and Samaria became the final royal city. Over 800 years after Omri's son Ahab became the 7th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, and Rehoboam's great-grandson Jehoshaphat became the 4th king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 26:1-27:23, Deuteronomy 31:1-34:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra 1:1-11, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
