Like Father, Like Son, Like Grandson, and Great-grandson

From the Epistle to the Hebrews,
in the New Testament of the Holy Bible:

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.-Hebrews 11:17-22***Canaan was a land that flowed with milk and honey, and huge fruit grew in Canaan. Canaan contained brooks, fountains and springs, and drank water from the rain of heaven, and was inhabited by idol worshipers. The Lord God promised to give Canaan to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Abraham's descendants. When Abraham was 86 years old, Ishmael was born to Abraham and Hagar, the maidservant of Abraham's wife Sarah (Sarai). When Abraham was 100 years old, Isaac was born to Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. Years thereafter, the Lord God told Abraham to journey to Moriah and offer Isaac as a burnt offering. Before Abraham put his knife into Isaac's body, the angel of the Lord proclaimed the message of the Lord to Abraham. When Isaac was 40 years old, he married Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. The Lord God promised to give Canaan to Isaac and Isaac's descendants. When Isaac was 60 years old, fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to Isaac and Rebekah. Decades thereafter, Rachel prompted Jacob to deceive Isaac and cheat Esau, and Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau. Shortly thereafter, the Lord God promised to give Canaan to Jacob and Jacob's descendants. At least 7 years thereafter, Jacob married Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and maidservant Bilhah. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and maidservant Zilpah. Joseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and Rachel. When Joseph was at least 17 years old, his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt. In Egypt, Joseph was sold to Potiphar, and imprisoned, and became the second-in-command in Egypt. When Jacob was 130 years old, he moved with his entire family from Canaan to Egypt. In Egypt, Jacob made Joseph vow to bury him in Canaan, and Jacob proclaimed Manasseh and Ephraim, the sons born to Joseph and his wife Asenath,  to be his own sons. Thus, after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt, his body was buried in Canaan. Before 110-year-old Joseph died in Egypt, he made the Israelites vow to take his bones with them to Canaan when the Lord God brought the Israelites out of Egypt. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that after Joseph and his siblings were dead, the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Aaron and his brother Moses were born into the tribe of Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, they led the Israelites away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor from the tribe of Ephraim, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land, according to the commands of the Lord God. Years thereafter, the Israelites buried Joseph's bones in Shechem, in a portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Ephraim. Over 1,300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Less than 33 1/2 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 20:1-21:45, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Chronicles 1:1-2:17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
