We Do Not Appreciate, as a Matter of Fact We Hate

And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report. Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours. And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.-Genesis 37:1-4***Before Benjamin was born in Canaan, in an area near Bethlehem, to Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, Benjamin's siblings were born in Padan-aram, Haran, in northern Mesopotamia. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob and his 1st wife Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and maidservant Bilhah. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and maidservant Zilpah, and Joseph was born to Jacob and Rachel. Joseph was Jacob's favorite son, and Rachel was Jacob's favorite wife. Jacob and his older fraternal twin brother Esau (Edom) were the only children born to Isaac and Rebekah. Esau was Isaac's favorite son, and Jacob was Rebekah's favorite. Isaac was the only child born to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai). Over 1,900 years after the Lord God promised to give Canaan to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24 Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
