Relatively Speaking

The tribe of Manasseh and the land allotted
 to them in the Promised Land and on 

the other side of the Jordan River:

There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the firstborn of Joseph; to wit, for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan. There was also a lot for the rest of the children of Manasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families. But Zelophed, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters: and these are the names of his daughters, Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father. And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan, which were on the other side Jordan; Because the daughters of Manasseh had an inheritance among his sons: and the rest of Manasseh's sons had the land of Gilead.-Joshua 17:1-6

Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.-Numbers 27:1...Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father. And Moses brought their cause before the LORD. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; any thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.-Numbers 27:4-7

And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.-Deuteronomy 3:13

Among David's mighty warriors were: 

Asahel: David's nephew, the son born to David's sister Zeruiah.

 
Sibbecai (Sibbechai/Mebunnai): he killed Saph (Sippai) the gigantic Philistine. Years earlier, David killed and beheaded Goliath, a gigantic Philistine from Gath.

Ilai: a relative of Eleazar the Ahohite. Eleazar fought the Philistines so relentlessly that Eleazar's hand clung to his sword.

Hezro: from Carmel. Abigail stayed with her husband Nabal in Carmel before Nabal died and Abigail became David's wife.

Zelek: an Ammonite, descended from Lot and Lot's youngest daughter and their son Ben-ammi. Lot was the nephew of Abraham and Sarah (Sarai).

Naharai: the armor-bearer for Joab. Joab was Asahel's brother and David's nephew and army commander.

Uriah: a Hittite, descended from Noah the ark builder, Noah's son Ham, Ham's son Canaan, and Canaan's son Heth. David purposefully sent Uriah away to be killed after David's intimacy with Uriah's wife Bathsheba resulted in Bathsheba becoming pregnant.

Ithmah: a Moabite descended from Lot and Lot's oldest daughter and their son Moab. 

Obed: a man with the same name as David's grandfather Obed. David's grandfather Obed was born to Boaz and Ruth. Ruth was a Moabite. Boaz was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to rule over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. The Old and the Bold

King David and some of his mighty men:

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow: And he slew an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear. These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among three mighty men. He was more honourable than the thirty, but he attained not to the first three. And David set him over his guard. Asahel the brother of Joab was one of the thirty; Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem, Shammah the Harodite, Elika the Harodite, Helez the Paltite, Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Anethothite, Mebunnai the Hushathite, Zalmon the Ahohite, Maharai the Netophathite, Heleb the son of Baanah, a Netophathite, Ittai the son of Ribai out of Gibeah of the children of Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite, Hiddai of the brooks of Gaash, Abialbon the Arbathite, Azmaveth the Barhumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite, of the sons of Jashen, Jonathan, Shammah the Hararite, Ahiam the son of Sharar the Hararite, Eliphelet the son of Ahasbai, the son of the Maachathite, Eliam the son of Ahithophel the Gilonite, Hezrai the Carmelite, Paarai the Arbite, Igal the son of Nathan of Zobah, Bani the Gadite, Zelek the Ammonite, Nahari the Beerothite, armourbearer to Joab the son of Zeruiah, Ira an Ithrite, Gareb an Ithrite, Uriah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all.-2 Samuel 23:20-39***Saul was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Samuel the priest, prophet and judge was from the tribe of Levi, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. When Samuel was elderly, and his sons Joel (Vashni) and Abiah (Abijah) were not obeying the commands of the Lord God, and King Nahash and his Ammonite army were preparing to attack, the Israelite elders demanded that Samuel appoint a king to lead them, and Samuel anointed Saul to reign, according to the command of the Lord God. At least twice, Saul did not obey the commands of the Lord God. While Saul reigned, the Lord God sent Samuel to anoint David, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, to reign as king over the Israelites in the Promised Land. Sometime thereafter, David began serving as a musician and an armor-bearer for Saul, and killed and beheaded Goliath the gigantic Philistine. David and Jonathan, Saul's son, made a covenant. The Israelite women sang of David higher than they sang of Saul, and Saul was angry. Saul wanted to kill David, and became afraid of David, and sent David on missions to get killed, and commanded others, including Jonathan, to kill David. Saul's daughter Michal was married to David and helped David escape from their home. In a cave in Adullam, in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Judah, approximately 400 distressed, discontented and indebted men joined David, and warriors and some less mighty men joined David. David's nephews Abishai, Joab and Asahel were with him during the wilderness years. After the Philistines killed Jonathan and his brothers Malchishua and Abinadab (Ishui?), and Saul's self-inflicted death on the same battlefield, men from the tribe of Judah anointed 30-year-old David, and David began to reign only over the tribe of Judah in the Promised Land. Saul's relative Abner placed Saul's son Ishbosheth (Eshbaal) as king over the other Israelite tribes. Sometime after Ishbosheth was murdered, the Israelite elders went to David, and David made a covenant with them. The elders anointed 37-year-old David, and David became the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants.  David had at least 3 groups of mighty warriors. Benaiah, the son born to Jehoiada, stayed loyal to David and was loyal to Solomon, the 3rd king to reign, when others turned away to follow Adonijah. Solomon was the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba. Adonijah was the son born to Solomon and Haggith. Uriah was the husband of Bathsheba. After Bathsheba became pregnant from intimacy with David, David secretly sent Uriah to the battlefront so that Uriah would be killed. Asahel was killed by Abner, and Abner was killed by Joab.  After Ishbosheth asked Abner a question about alleged intimacy, Abner pledged himself to David. After 70-year-old David died, Adonijah sent Bathsheba to Solomon to make a request. Benaiah killed Adonijah, per Solomon's command. Moreover, Solomon sent Benaiah to kill Joab, according to the words previously spoken by David. Over 900 years after Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
