Unmistaken Identification

The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.-1 Chronicles 27:5-6***Several prominent men named Benaiah are mentioned in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible. Benaiah from Kabzeel was commander of the military unit during the 3rd month of each year throughout the reign of King David. Kabzeel was in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Judah, David's birth tribe. Benaiah was in charge of David's team of bodyguards and was among David's 30 most mighty warriors. Benaiah killed 2 enemy Moabite warriors, and a gigantic Egyptian fighter, and a lion. Moreover, Benaiah remained loyal to David and David's son and successor King Solomon when Adonijah, the son born to David and Haggith, tried to proclaim himself king while David still reigned.
