FYI - For Your Information

From a letter written by the apostle Paul (Saul),
with Timothy (Timotheus),
to believers in Corinth and its surrounding areas, years after
was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb,
resurrected, seen by many people, and returned to heaven:

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.-2 Corinthians 5:17-21

And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,-Luke 3:23...Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.-Luke 3:38

Between Me and You

And Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of Sarah. And Sarah died in Kirjatharba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her. And Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spake unto the sons of Heth, saying, I am a stranger and a sojourner with you: give me a possession of a buryingplace with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight. And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him, Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead. And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the children of Heth. And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar, That he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which he hath, which is in the end of his field, for as much money as it is worth he shall give it me for a possession of a buryingplace among you. And Ephron dwelt among the children of Heth: and Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate of his city, saying, Nay, my lord, hear me: the field give I thee, and the cave that is therein, I give it thee; in the presence of the sons of my people give I it thee: bury thy dead. And Abraham bowed down himself before the people of the land. And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear me: I will give thee money for the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there. And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him, My lord, hearken unto me: the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead. And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.-Genesis 23:1-16***Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and his wife Sarah (Sarai) were descendants of Shem. Ephron the Hittite was a descendant of Shem's brother Ham. Shem and Ham were the sons of Noah the ark builder. Before and after the Lord God promised to give the land of Canaan to Abraham, and to Abraham and Sarah's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants, the Hittites and other idolatrous groups were living throughout Canaan. After Sarah died, Abraham bought a cave and its adjoining property from a Hittite to bury Sarah. After 175-year-old Abraham died, Isaac and his older half brother Ishmael buried Abraham's body in the cave. After 180-year-old Isaac died, Jacob and his older fraternal twin brother Esau (Edom) buried Isaac's body in the cave. Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel. Sometime before 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt, he made Joseph vow to bury his body in the cave. Moreover, mentioned that the body of his mother Rebekah, Isaac's wife, and the body of Rachel's older sister Leah, Jacob's 1st wife, were buried in the cave. Over 1,800 years after 110-year-old Joseph made the Israelites vow to take his bones with them to Canaan, the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-2:17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Worse Perverse

Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter. Thou art thy mother's daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite. And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters. Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done. Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.-Ezekiel 16:44-52***The Lord God revealed to Ezekiel the prophet some actions for Ezekiel to proclaim to his fellow Israelites. The Hittites were descendants of Heth, and Heth was the son of Canaan, and Canaan was the son of Ham, and Ham was the son of Noah the ark builder. The Amorites were also descended from Canaan. The Israelites descended from Noah's son Shem, Shem's great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Terah, Terah's children Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), their son Isaac and his wife Rebekah, Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel) and his wives Leah and Rachel and maidservants Bilhah and Zilpah, and the 12 sons born to Jacob, his wives and maidservants. When the Lord God promised to give the land of Canaan to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants, the Hittites and Amorites were 2 of several idolatrous groups inhabiting the land. When Abraham and Sarah's nephew Lot was living with his family in Sodom, 2 angels led Lot, Lot's wife and their 2 daughters away before the Lord God rained brimstone and fire upon Sodom and the nearby cities and regions. Over 400 years after Jacob and Rachel's descendant Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land, Rehoboam, the son born to King Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Before the Babylonians  (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and conquered Jerusalem over 100 years thereafter, the Lord God gave Ezekiel and other prophets messages for the Israelites in Judah. Less than 600 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, the birth tribe of Solomon, Rehoboam and all of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-33, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 7:1-26, 20:1-20, 29:1-29, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 9:1-12:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Isaiah 43:1-28, Jeremiah 20:1-18, 49:1-50:46, Lamentations 4:1-22, Ezekiel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 2 Peter 2:1-22

The Lord Knows

From a letter written by Simon Peter
 to believers everywhere:

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; and spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; and delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.-2 Peter 2:1-10***Simon Peter was 1 of the 12 disciples and apostles of Jesus the Christ, the Son of God. Sometime after Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by many people, including Simon Peter, and returned to heaven less than 34 years after he was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin, Simon Peter wrote a divinely inspired letter that revealed information of the great flood and the righteous life of his ancestor Noah the ark builder. Moreover, Simon Peter wrote of righteous and just Lot, who lived in Sodom with his family. Sodom and its inhabitants were destroyed when the Lord God rained brimstone and fire from heaven upon Sodom, Gomorrah (Gomorrha), Admah, Zeboiim, and the surrounding regions. Two angels hurried Lot, his wife and their 2 daughters safely away, although Lot's wife looked back and became a pillar of salt.-Genesis 1:1-35:29, Deuteronomy 29:1-29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Isaiah 13:1-22, Jeremiah 49:1-50:46, Lamentations 4:1-22, Ezekiel 16:1-63, Amos 4:1-13, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-15:41, Romans 9:1-33, Hebrews 11:1-40, 1 Peter 1:1-25, 3:1-22, 2 Peter, Jude

Qualified

The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying, What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel. Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman, And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man, Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.-Ezekiel 18:1-9***When Ezekiel the prophet was among his fellow Israelites in Babylon after the Babylonians took them captive from Jerusalem and the rest of the southern nation of Judah in the Promised Land, the Lord God revealed the actions and behavior of a just man to Ezekiel. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the Israelite tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph, a just man, when Mary was a virgin. After Mary's time of purification were fulfilled, Joseph and Mary took Jesus to Jerusalem to present Jesus to the Lord God and to offer the required sacrifices, according to the law that the Lord gave to Moses for the Israelites. Simeon, a just man, was able to see Jesus, hold Jesus and bless the Lord God. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, a just man. Herod Antipas the tetrarch, ruler of Galilee for the Roman Empire, knew John the Baptist to be a just man. Shortly after Jesus was baptized, Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested and crucified. The wife of Pontius Pilate,  governor of Judea for the Roman Empire, identified Jesus as a just man. Joseph of Arimathea, a just man and a secret disciple of Jesus the Christ, went to Pilate and asked to be given the body of Jesus the Christ. Afterwards, Joseph and Nicodemus, a Pharisee, prepared the body of Jesus for burial, and placed the body of Jesus in a specific tomb, and rolled a great stone to its entrance. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Jesus was resurrected, seen by many people, and returned to heaven.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Ezekiel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Plain and Simple

Proverbs Chapter 20 consists of 30 verses,
verses 1-7 are listed below:

1.Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

2.The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul.

3.It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

4.The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.

5.Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.

6.Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

7.The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that a just man is a righteous man. A just man rises after falling, is teachable, has nothing to do with idols, treats the poor with integrity, behaves honorably towards women, judges fairly, plunders no one, and obeys the laws and commandments of the Lord God. Noah  the ark builder was a just man. Lot in Sodom, John the Baptist in Judea, Simeon in Jerusalem, Joseph of Arimathea,  Cornelius the centurion in Caesarea, and Joseph of Nazareth in Galilee were just men. Joseph was the husband of Mary. When Mary was a virgin, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb, and Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 1:1-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Proverbs 9:1-18, 20:1-30, 24:1-34, Ezekiel 18:1-32, Zechariah 9:1-17, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-15:41, Hebrews 11:1-40, 2 Peter 2:1-22

Reference Scriptures:
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;-Proverbs 1:1

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.-Matthew 1:1...And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;-Matthew 1:6...And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.-Matthew 1:16

Just Obedience

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.-Matthew 1:18-25

*******************************************************

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.-Luke 1:26-38

Reference Scriptures:
And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,-Luke 3:23...Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David,-Luke 3:31...Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.-Luke 3:38

For the Very Works' Sake

The Words of

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever he shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keep them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.-John 14:1-21

All in Together

speaks to a group of Israelites,
including Pharisees:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself, I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.-John 10:1-18

Reference Scriptures:
And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.-Matthew 13:10-11

More Plus More Because of the Lord

speaks to his eleven disciples and
apostles after his disciple and apostle
Judas Iscariot left to betray Jesus:

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandmen. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abideth not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another.-John 15:1-17

Some Explaining

speaks to a multitude of people in Galilee:

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven;  but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.-John 6:28-40

Reference Scriptures:
Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, i will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.-Exodus 16:4...And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.-Exodus 16:15

For Your Sakes

Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him. Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him. Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already. Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off: And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.-John 11:14-27***James, John and Simon Peter were Israelites and fishermen from Galilee and they worked in the fishing business together. Approximately 30 years after Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men, including James, John and Simon Peter, to follow him, and Jesus bean to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. James, John and Simon Peter were the disciples and apostles most constantly with Jesus, and they saw several miraculous sights that the other disciples did not witness. In Galilee, James, John and Simon Peter saw and heard Jesus command a dead girl to arise and the girl started breathing and walking. Mary and her sister Martha and brother Lazarus were Israelites from Bethany in Judea. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Mary, Martha and Lazarus were close friends with Jesus. When Jesus was miles away from Bethany, he received a message from Mary and Martha that Lazarus, who later died, was sick. Jesus, who is the Word, and the only begotten Son of God, and the bread of life, and the light of the world, and the good shepherd, and the way, the truth, and the life, told Martha he is the resurrection and the life. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by many people, and returned to heaven.-Genesis 1:1-3:24, 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Unmistaken Identification

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.-John 1:1-15***Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, is the Word and the light of the world. Over 2000 years ago, Jesus was born into the Israelite tribe of Judah to Mary, a virgin, and her husband Joseph after being conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb when Mary was a virgin. Jesus was born months after John the Baptist was born into the Israelite tribe of Levi to Mary's elderly relative Elizabeth (Elisabeth) and Elizabeth's elderly husband Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest.-Genesis 1:1-3:24, 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 1 John 1:1-3:24

Anyone, Anyone

From a letter written by the apostle Paul
to believers in Rome:

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.-Romans 11:33-36***The apostle Paul (Saul) was an Israelite descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. In a divinely inspired letter Paul sent to those in Rome who confessed Jesus, who had been crucified, buried in a tomb and resurrected, to be the Christ, the Son of God, Paul expressed some revelations of the Lord God that were similar to the words spoken by Job centuries earlier.-Genesis 1:1-3:24, Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, 9:35-44, Job 1:1-9:35, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, 11:19-28:31, Romans

The Lord God Himself

From Job's first response to Zophar,
one of the three friends visiting Job:

The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly. But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air ,and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat? With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built up again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening. Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth. With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his. He leadeth counsellors away spoiled and maketh the judges fools. He looseth the bonds of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle. He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty. He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged. He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty. He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death. He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again. He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of he earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way. They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
-Job 12:6-25***Job only worshiped the Lord God. Job was an extremely wealthy husband and father who suffered through the loss of his children, servants, and possessions and experienced a period of suffering in his body as allowed by the Lord God. Seven days after Job's friends EliphazBildad and
Zophar came to him, Job and each of his friends spoke of some of the acts and actions of the Lord God. Centuries after the Lord God spoke to Job and Eliphaz, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the Isralite tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River. Shortly thereafter, Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, and Jesus described some of the acts and actions of his Father, the Lord God in heaven.-Genesis 1:1-10:32, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Job, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
