Then Jeroboam built Shechem in mount Ephraim, and dwelt therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel. Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites to Judah. Every Single Solitary Bit

And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. A dedication and the Passover were observed, and the matter of Israelite men married to idol worshiping women was brought to the attention of Ezra, the priest and scribe. Ezra had recently arrived in Jerusalem after years of living in Babylon and was unaware that such marriages had occurred. Over 800 years earlier, the Lord God revealed to Moses the prophet that the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God, were not to marry the idolatrous inhabitants living throughout Canaan, the Promised Land. During the 40th year after Moses and his older brother Aaron led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, and the Lord God gave Moses the martial commands, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor. King Menahem

In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin. And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand. And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.-2 Kings 15:17-20***The 1st king to rule over the Israelites in the Promised Land was Saul was from the tribe of Benjamin. David, from the tribe of Judah, was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites in the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. The tribe of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin became Judah, the nation in the south. Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel, the northern nation, was comprised of the other Israelite tribes. Samaria was the final royal city, and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. Murderers and idolaters ruled the northern nation of Israel. David's descendants ruled Judah, except for the 6-year reign of Athaliah. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Uzziah (Azariah), was the 9th king to rule Judah. Zechariah  (Zachariah) was the 14th king to reign over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Shallum killed Zechariah and ruled for 1 month before Menahem killed Shallum. Menahem proclaimed himself king and gave silver to King Pul (Tiglath-pileser?), ruler of Assyria. Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and Tiglath-pileser began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Uzziah's great-great-great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans), invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites to Babylon. During the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments: But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it. And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle. And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father's house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so? And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee? And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people. And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house. But Samson's wife was given to his companion, whom he had used as his friend. But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in. And her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her.-Judges 14:12-15:2***Samson was an Israelite from the tribe of Dan, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and Bilhah, and Jacob and Bilhah's firstborn son Dan. Samson had seen and was preparing to marry a Philistine woman in Timnath. During the weeklong wedding feast, Samson told his 30 Philistine groomsmen a riddle that he bet they would not be able to solve. To learn the answer, the groomsmen threatened Samson's wife, and she cried and nagged Samson for the answer. The wife spoke to the groomsmen and the groomsmen spoke to Samson. Afterwards, Samson went to Ashkelon, a Philistine city, and killed and stripped 30 Philistines, and fulfilled his obligation, and went to his father's house. Meanwhile, Samson's wife was given to another man. Over 1,000 years after Samson prayed to the Lord God, and Samson and a multitude of Philistines died, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
