Just Obedience

The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel. The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD. So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and she bare him a son. And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel. And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel, in the valley of Jezreel. And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Lo-ruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away. But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen. Now when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son. Then said God, Call his name Lo-ammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God. Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.-Hosea 1:1-10***Idolaters and murderers always ruled the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land. Joram (Jehoram), the son born to King Ahab and Jezebel, was the 9th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. After army commander Jehu was anointed by a young prophet, Jehu became the 10th king to reign, according to the command of the Lord God. Jehu killed King Joram, and commanded the death of Jezebel, and the death of King Ahaziah, the 6th king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. According to Jehu's commands, Ahab's 70 immediate descendants were killed and their heads were brought to Jehu when Jehu was in Jezreel. Ahab's other family members in Jezreel, and Ahab's friends and priests in Jezreel, and Ahab's relatives in Samaria, the royal city, and Ahaziah's 42 relatives, and false prophets in the northern nation of Israel were killed. Meanwhile, the 2 golden calves that were built and placed by King Jeroboam, the 1st king to rule the northern nation of Israel, remained in Bethel and Dan. Sometime during Jehu's reign, Jehu became an idolater. Jehu's son Jehoahaz was the 11th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Jehoahaz's son Joash (Jehoash) was the 12th king to reign. Joash's son Jeroboam was the 13th king to rule the northern nation. King Uzziah (Azariah), the 9th king to rule Judah, was the great-grandson of King Ahaziah, the 6th king to rule Judah. Jotham, the son born to Uzziah and Jerushah, was the 10th king to reign. Jotham's son Ahaz was the 11th king to rule Judah. Hezekiah, the son born to Ahaz and Abi (Abijah), was the 12th king to reign. Hezekiah, Jotham, Uzziah, Uzziah's great-great-great-grandfather King Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat's father King Asa, and Hezekiah's great-grandson Josiah, the 15th king to rule Judah, only worshiped the Lord God. The other kings who ruled Judah were idolaters. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Josiah's son Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem, the royal city, and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin and his mother Nehushta, to Babylon. During the reign of Josiah's son King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Jeremiah 39:1-18, 52:1-34, Hosea, Matthew Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
