Some Explaining

Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience. The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it. And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness. And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot. And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years. And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will. Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:-Acts 13:16-23***Over 300 years after Levi was born to Jacob (Israel) and Leah, and Ephraim was born to Joseph and Asenath, Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi, and Joshua was born into the tribe of Ephraim. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, they led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried. Moses' successor Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. However, Israelites from the tribes of Reuben and Gad and 1/2 the tribe of Manasseh made their homes on the same side of the Jordan River that Moses and Aaron had led them through for 40 years. After 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Israelites from the tribe of Simeon and the tribe of Judah fought together in a battle against the Canaanites and Perizzites, idol worshiping inhabitants living in Canaan. Sometime thereafter, Othniel, from the tribe of Judah, was the judge leading the Israelites. Ehud the judge was from the tribe of Benjamin. Shamgar the judge killed 600 Philistines. Israelites from the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun followed Deborah, the prophetess and judge, and commander Barak in a battle against the Canaanites. Gideon (Jerubbaal) the judge was from the tribe of Manasseh. Tola the judge, from the tribe of Issachar, led the Israelites for 23 years. Jephthah the judge, from the tribe of Manasseh, led the Israelites for 6 years. Afterwards, judges Ibzan, Elon and Abdon successively led the Israelites. Samson the judge, from the tribe of Dan, led the Israelites for 20 years. When Samuel the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Levi was elderly, and Samuel's sons Abiah and Joel (Vashni) were not obeying the commands of the Lord God, and King Nahash and his fellow Ammonites were preparing to attack, the Israelite elders demanded that Samuel appoint a king to lead them. After Samuel prayed to the Lord God, and proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites, Samuel anointed Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, to reign as king, according to the command of the Lord God. At least twice, Saul did not obey the commands of the Lord God. While Saul reigned, the Lord God sent Samuel to anoint David, from the tribe of Judah, to reign as king. After Saul's self-inflicted death on the battlefield, David reigned only over the tribe of Judah. Saul's son Ishbosheth (Eshbaal) reigned over the other Israelite tribes. After Ishbosheth was murdered, the Israelite elders anointed David, and David became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ,  the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Anna,  an elderly prophetess and widow who served the Lord God and spoke about the arrival of Jesus, was from the tribe of Asher. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the disciple and apostle, and Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb,  resurrected, and returned to heaven. Sometime thereafter, Paul (Saul), from the tribe of Benjamin, began persecuting and imprisoning any Israelite throughout Jerusalem who believed Jesus to be the Christ. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus, Syria, to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus, and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus Paul was baptized. From thenceforward, Paul the apostle journeyed and wrote divinely inspired letters, teaching Israelites and Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes, the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life.
