Jesus the Christ,
the Son of God:
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.-John 15:1-8***When Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was in Jerusalem with 11 of his 12 disciples and apostles, he taught the 11 Israelite men some of the last lessons before he was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven. Jesus identified himself as the vine, the true vine. Less than 34 years earlier, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. On the 8th day after Jesus was born, Jesus was circumcised, according to the covenant of circumcision that the Lord God gave Joseph and Mary's ancestor Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) when Abraham was 99 years old. During the 12th year after Jesus was born, Joseph and Mary found Jesus in Jerusalem, in the temple of the Lord, listening, asking, understanding, and understanding. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Jesus identified himself as the Son of God, the way the truth and the life, the resurrection and the life, the bread of life, the living bread, the door, the door of the sheep, the good shepherd, the light of the world while he was in the world, and the Son of man.
