Asahel: David's nephew, the son of David's sister Zeruiah.
Sibbecai (Sibbechai/Mebunnai): killed Saph (Sippai) the gigantic Philistine. Years earlier, David killed and beheaded Goliath, a gigantic Philistine.
Ilai: a relative of Eleazar the Ahohite. Eleazar fought the Philistines so relentlessly that Eleazar's hand clung to his sword.
Hezro: from Carmel. Abigail, 1 of David's wives, had stayed with her husband Nabal in Carmel before Nabal died.
Zelek: an Ammonite, descended from Lot, Lot's youngest daughter, and Lot and his youngest daughter's son Ben-ammi. Lot was the nephew of Abraham and his wife Sarah (Sarai).
Naharai: the armor-bearer for Joab. Joab was Asahel's brother and David's nephew and army commander.
Uriah: a Hittite. David purposefully sent Uriah away to be killed after Uriah's wife Bathsheba began carrying David's child in her womb.
Ithmah: a Moabite. Ithmah was descended from Lot, Lot's oldest daughter, and Lot and his oldest daughter's son Moab.
Obed: a man with the same name as David's grandfather Obed. David's grandfather Obed was the son born to Boaz, an Israelite, and Ruth, a Moabite. Boaz, and Boaz and Ruth's son Obed, and Obed's son Jesse, and Jesse's son David the king were from the tribe of Judah, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. Over 1,900 years after Judah was born, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.
