My Daughter to the Best Warrior

Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines. And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle. For Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in array, army against army. And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethren. And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them. And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid. And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father's house free in Israel.-1 Samuel 17:19-25***David was the last and 8th son born into his family of Israelites from the tribe of Judah. Saul and his family were Israelites from the tribe of Benjamin. In the Promised Land, before Saul met David, Saul was reigning as king over the Israelites and David was working as a shepherd for his father Jesse. During his duties protecting the flock, David had killed at least 1 lion and bear. During his duties as king, Saul disobeyed the commands of the Lord God. While Saul reigned, the Lord God sent Samuel, the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Levi, to anoint David to reign as king. Years earlier, Samuel anointed Saul to reign as king, according to the commands of the Lord God. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that David was recognized as handsome and intelligent, and was known as a skilled musician and a brave and skillful fighter. David's musical ability caused David to be brought to Saul. While serving as a musician and an armor-bearer for Saul, David continued working as a shepherd. When the Israelites and Philistines were preparing to battle, Jesse told David to take provisions to David's brothers Eliab, Abinadab and Shammah, and their commander, and return to Jesse with news of their well-being. After David killed and beheaded Goliath the gigantic Philistine, Jonathan, Saul's son, made a covenant with David. The Israelite women sang of David higher than they sang of Saul, and Saul was angry. Saul became afraid of David, and wanted to kill David, and commanded others, including Jonathan, to kill David. Saul's daughter Michal married David and helped David escape from their home. Over 1,000 years Jonathan and his brothers Malchishua and Abinadab were killed by the Philistines, and Saul's self-inflicted death on the same battlefield, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-2:12, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
