Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.-Song of Solomon 4:1-5***King David was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. David was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. David had many wives and concubines. Solomon was the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba. Solomon became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, and he is widely regarded to be the divinely inspired writer of the Song of Solomon in the Holy Bible. Solomon was married to 700 women and in relationships with 300 concubines. One of Solomon's wives was an Egyptian princess, and some were princesses from the idol worshiping nations that the Lord God commanded the Israelites not to take a spouse. Over 900 years after Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
