Technically Speaking

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done. And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing? And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place: and they will slay me for my wife's sake. And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.-Genesis 20:9-12***In southern Mesopotamia, in Ur, the Lord God appeared to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and told Abraham to depart from his country and kin and come into the land he would be shown. Abraham, his wife Sarah (Sarai), their father Terah, and nephew Lot journeyed to Haran in northern Mesopotamia. Sometime after 205-year-old Terah died in Haran, Abraham, Sarah and Lot moved with their servants and possessions to Canaan, and the Lord God promised to give Canaan to Abraham's descendants and Abraham. During a time of famine in Canaan, Abraham, Sarah and Lot journeyed to Egypt and returned to Canaan. The amount of livestock and goods owned by Abraham and Lot caused problems and led Abraham to suggest that they live in separate regions. Lot moved eastward, and Abraham eventually moved farther away. King Abimelech, the Philistine the ruler of Gerar, took Sarah without knowing Sarah was a married woman. After the Lord God appeared to Abimelech in a dream, Abimelech spoke to Abraham. When Abraham was 100 years old, Isaac was born to Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. When Isaac was 40 years old, he married Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. When Isaac was 60 years old, fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to Isaac and Rebekah. Decades thereafter, Jacob married Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel. Over 1,900 years after Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah was born, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
