The disciples, Annas and Caiaphas were Israelites, descendants of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Less than 33 1/2 years before Jesus was in front of Annas and the other leaders, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.  Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Jacob's 3rd born son Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. There Was a Whole Lot of Killing Going On

After Joshua and his fellow Israelites were

victorious at Jericho, Ai, and Makkedah, and

against enemy kings, the Israelites defeated 

more enemies in Canaan, the Promised Land:

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph, And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,  And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh. And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many. And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.-Joshua 11:1-5

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms. And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire. And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded. But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn. And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe. As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses commanded Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses.-Joshua 11:6-15

So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same; Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them. Joshua made war a long time with all those kings. There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle. For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.-Joshua 11:16-20

And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities. There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, there remained. So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. All Fail Together

A message the Lord God 

revealed to Isaiah the prophet:

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity. Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they shall fail together. For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase  himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it. Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted. For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin. And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.-Isaiah 31:1-9***Immediately before the Israelites followed Moses and his older brother Aaron across the divinely parted Red Sea, after Moses and Aaron led them away from Egyptian slavery, the Israelites panicked and told Moses that they had not wanted to leave Egypt. Throughout their journey in the desert wilderness, the Israelites murmured reminiscently several times and sought to return to Egypt. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor. Shortly thereafter, Moses recounted the history of the Israelites to them. Moses explained the commandments, judgments, statutes, and laws that the Lord God gave for the Israelites. Moses told the Israelites that the king they would place over them must not increase the number of horses owned, nor send anyone to Egypt to get more horses. According to the command of the Lord God, Moses told the Israelites that they must not return that way again nor be fearful whenever they saw enemies greatly prepared with an army, horses and chariots. Moses described the blessings and curses that would occur and the actions that would cause the Lord God to return the Israelites to Egypt. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. After 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, the Israelites were led by elders, judges, their own minds, and eventually kings. Saul, from the tribe of Jacob's 12th born son Benjamin, was the 1st king to reign over the Israelites in the Promised Land. David, from the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah, was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city, and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Murderers and  idolaters always ruled the northern nation of Israel. During the 20-year reign of King Pekah, the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the 9th year of the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. The descendants of David, Solomon and Rehoboam successively ruled Judah, except for the 6-year reign of Athaliah. Rehoboam's grandson King Asa, Asa's son King Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat's great-great-great-grandson King Uzziah (Azariah), Uzziah's son King Jotham, Jotham's grandson King Hezekiah, and Hezekiah's great-grandson King Josiah were the only kings who ruled Judah and only worshiped the Lord God. During Rehoboam's 17-year reign, King Shishak, ruler of Egypt, invaded Jerusalem. During Hezekiah's 29-year reign, King Sennacherib, ruler of Assyria, accused Hezekiah of seeking help from Egypt. Josiah was killed after challenging Egyptian king Pharaoh Necho (Nechoh). Necho took Josiah's successor King Jehoahaz, the son born to Josiah and Hamutal, captive to Egypt. During the reign of Jehoahaz's successor  King Jehoiakim (Eliakim), the son born to Josiah and Zebudah, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem, and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's successor King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites to Babylon. Jehoiachin's successor King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), another son born to Josiah and Hamutal, sought help from Egypt. During the 11th year of Zedekiah's reign, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Paul (Saul) was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Judah was the 4th son born to Jacob and his 1st wife Leah. Sometime after Jesus was crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven, Paul was persecuting and imprisoning Israelites throughout Jerusalem who believed Jesus to be the Christ. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus, Syria to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus, Paul was baptized. From thenceforward, Paul the apostle journeyed, teaching the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life to Israelites and Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes. After Paul met and circumcised Timothy (Timotheus), Timothy began journeying with Paul and others. Paul sent Timothy on missions, and identified Timothy as a fellow worker, son, brother, and servant of Christ Jesus. Moreover, Paul wrote at least 2 divinely inspired letters to Timothy. Timothy's mother Eunice was an Israelite and believed Jesus to be the Christ of God. Timothy's father was a Gentile. In Corinth, Paul met, lived and worked with Aquila and Priscilla (Prisca). Aquila was an Israelite. Priscilla's heritage is not definitively specified in the Holy Bible. Aquila and his wife Priscilla believed Jesus to be the Messiah, and sailed to Syria with Paul, went to Ephesus with Paul, allowed a congregation of believers to regularly assemble in their home, positioned their lives to help Paul despite any circumstances involved, and were identified by Paul as fellow workers in Christ. Onesiphorus was kind and helpful to Paul in Rome and Ephesus, and purposefully searched for Paul, and was never ashamed of Paul's custody status. Sometime after 205-year-old Terah died in Haran, Abraham moved to Canaan with Sarah, Lot and their servants and possessions. The Lord God spoke to Abraham of greatness, a blessing and a curse. The Lord God appeared to Abraham, who was childless, and told Abraham that he would give Canaan to Abraham's descendants and to Abraham. Years thereafter, the Lord God told Abraham to look in each direction. The Lord God told Abraham that Abraham and his descendants would be given the land and Abraham's descendants would be exceedingly numerous. When Abraham received a vision from the Lord God, the Lord God spoke to Abraham, and childless Abraham questioned the Lord God regarding an heir. After the Lord God brought Abraham outside and spoke to Abraham, Abraham believed in the Lord God. When Abraham was in a deep sleep, the Lord God spoke to Abraham and explained that Abraham's descendants would be afflicted in a foreign land before coming out of the land with a vast amount of valuable goods and begin living in Canaan. When Abraham was 86 years old, Ishmael was born to Abraham and Hagar, Sarah's maidservant. When Abraham was 100 years old, Isaac was born to Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. When Isaac was 40 years old, he married Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. During the 20th year of Isaac and Rebekah's marriage, their only children, fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born. Decades thereafter, Jacob married Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and Rachel. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt and his body was buried in Canaan, and Joseph and his siblings were dead, their descendants the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Miriam and her younger brother Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi.  When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, the Lord God sent them to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. In the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried. Before Moses went upon Mount Nebo, and the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried, the Lord God told Moses that he knew the Israelites would be idolatrous and break his covenant. Moreover, Moses told the Israelites that he knew they would be rebellious. Joshua, Moses' successor, was from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. After 110-yer-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, the Israelites were led by elders, judges, or their own minds. Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, was the 1st king to reign over the Israelites in the Promised Land. David, from the tribe of Judah, was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Less than 200 years after Jeroboam's son Nadab became the 2nd king to rule the northern nation of Israel, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Zedekiah (Mattaniah) was the 19th king to rule Judah. During the 11th year of Zedekiah's reign, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites.  Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem, approximately 6 miles from Jerusalem, into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. The Israelites were continuing to learn and teach the commandments, judgments, statutes, and laws, including those regarding divorce, swearing, 

profaning the name of the Lord, retaliation, 

love, hate, and enemies.  Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Jesus taught that he had come to fulfill, not destroy, the law or the prophets, and Jesus taught that all the law and prophets hung on the 1st and 2nd commandments, specifically, to love the Lord God with all one's heart, soul, and mind, and to love one's neighbor as one's self.
