Each and Every One

From a letter written by the apostle Paul (Saul),

with Timothy (Timotheus), to believers in Corinth

and its surrounding areas, years after

Jesus the Christ, the Son of God,

was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb,

resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven:

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.-2 Corinthians 5:1-10

 to believers everywhere:

Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy: whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. On the mountain, Simon Peter, James and John saw Moses and Elijah, prophets from centuries earlier, speaking with Jesus. Simon Peter offered to build tabernacles, and Simon Peter, James and John heard the voice of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Simon Peter, James, John and other Israelite men, including Simon Peter's brother Andrew, began following Jesus, Judas Iscariot the disciple and apostle betrayed Jesus, and Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven. Sometime thereafter, Simon Peter wrote a divinely inspired letter to believers that revealed another tabernacle, the dwelling tent of his body. A Prayer Prayed

The prayer that King Solomon prayed to the Lord God

after building the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem 

and setting each sacred item, including the ark of 

the covenant of the Lord, in its proper place:

And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven: And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart: Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day. Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me. The Lord Knows

Psalm 44 consists of 26 verses,

verses 8-21 are given below:

In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah. But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies. Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves. Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen. Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price. Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us. Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people. My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me, For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger. All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant. Saying Nothing

The apostle Paul and Barnabas:

And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question. And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren. And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them. But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? Paul and Barnabas were circumcised when they were 8 days old, according to the covenant of circumcision that the Lord God gave their ancestor Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) when Abraham was 99 years old. Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born into the tribe of Judah to Joseph and his wife Mary, a virgin, after being conceived of the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) in Mary's womb when Mary was a virgin. On the 8th day after Jesus was born, Jesus was circumcised. At least 40 days after Jesus was born, Joseph, Mary and Jesus were in Jerusalem and sacrifices were offered, according to the laws that the Lord God gave Moses for the Israelites over 1,400 years earlier. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized. Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the disciple and apostle, and Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven. Sometime thereafter, Barnabas placed a sum of money in front of the apostles who had followed Jesus and had been sent by Jesus on a preaching and healing mission among the Israelites. Meanwhile, throughout Jerusalem, Paul was persecuting and imprisoning  Israelites who believed Jesus to be the Christ. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus, Syria, to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus, Paul was baptized. Jesus told Paul to share the message of Christ with Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes. The Israelite believers in Jerusalem did not trust Paul. Thus, Barnabas stood with Paul and described Paul's new life in Christ. In Antioch of Pisidia, after speaking to the Israelites, Paul and Barnabas explained the good news of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. A message the Lord God revealed to Habakkuk 

the prophet years before the Lord God allowed 

the Babylonians (Chaldeans) to invade Judah

 and conquer Jerusalem in the Promised Land,

due to the idolatry and other wickedness 

of the Israelites:

Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul. For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it. Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity! Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness! For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. The chief priests, elders, Pharisees, and scribes did not believe Jesus to be the Christ, and were not among those Jesus addressed as friends, and were not friendly towards Jesus, and made plans to kill Jesus. A Prayer Prayed

It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazon-tamar, which is En-gedi. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD. And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court. And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee? Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying, If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not; Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.-2 Chronicles 20:1-13***Solomon was the 2nd child born to King David and Bathsheba, and was the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Rehoboam's great-grandson Jehoshaphat was the 4th king to rule Judah. During Jehoshaphat's 25-year reign, the Moabites, Ammonites and enemies from the Mount Seir region came to attack Jehoshaphat and his fellow Israelites. Jehoshaphat's son Jehoram (Joram) was the 5th king to rule Judah. Jehoram and his captains defeated the Edomites. Jehoram (Joram), the son born to King Ahab and Jezebel, was the 9th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Jehoram's 12-year reign, the Lord God gave Jehoram, Jehoshaphat, and the Edomite king victory over the Moabites. The Moabites and Ammonites were descendants of Lot, the nephew of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai). The Israelites descended from Abraham and Sarah, their son Isaac and his wife Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that righteous Lot lived among the inhabitants of Sodom. After the Lord God spoke with Abraham and destroyed Sodom and the nearby cities and regions, Lot lived in a cave with his 2 daughters. Moab was born to Lot and Lot's oldest daughter. Ben-ammi, the forefather of the Ammonites, was born to Lot and Lot's youngest daughter. Many of the inhabitants of the Mount Seir region were descendants of Esau (Edom), Jacob's older fraternal twin brother. The Lord God gave the Mount Seir region to Esau and Esau's descendants. Joshua was from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim. Jacob proclaimed Ephraim and Ephraim's older brother Manasseh to be his own sons. Sometime after Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land, Ehud the judge, from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin, led the Israelites to finally defeat the Moabites.  Jephthah the judge, from the tribe of Manasseh, defeated the Ammonites. Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign over the Israelites in the Promised Land. Saul and his army defeated the Ammonites. David was from the tribe of Judah, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. When David was 37 years old, he became the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. David and his army defeated the Moabites, and conquered and defeated the Edomites, and defeated the Ammonites. Jehoshaphat's great-great-grandson Amaziah was the 8th king to rule Judah. Amaziah and his army defeated the Edomites. During the reign of Amaziah's great-grandson Ahaz, the 11th king to rule Judah, the Edomites attacked Judah and took Israelites captive. Ahaz's great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. The Lord God allowed the Ammonites, Babylonians (Chaldeans), and other enemies to invade Judah during Jehoiakim's 11-year reign, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Jehoiakim's great-grandfather King Manasseh, the 13th king to rule Judah. King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, was the 18th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiachin's 3-month reign, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin, his wives and mother, to Babylon. During the 11th year of the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 125 years earlier, the Assyrians invaded the northern nation of Israel during the reign of King Pekah, the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the 9th year of the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. The Lord God Himself

A message the Lord God
 revealed to Isaiah the prophet:

Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment. Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow. He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet. Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he. The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came. They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage. So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.
