Marital Pick
And Miriam and Aaron spake again Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it. (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.) And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out. And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth. And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed. And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous. And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned. Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb. And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee. And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again. And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again. And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.-Numbers 12:1-16/the complete chapter***Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were Israelites from the tribe of Levi, born to Amram and his wife Jochebed. Amram and Jochebed kept Moses hidden 3 months after his birth, and thus Moses was not killed while a specific Pharaoh ruled and the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Jochebed put 3-month-old Moses in a specially prepared ark, and placed the ark amid the vegetation near the river. Pharaoh's daughter saw the ark, and sent her maidservant to get the ark, and arranged with Miriam to pay Jochebed to serve as the nursemaid for Moses. After Moses was weaned, Moses lived with the Egyptians as the son of the daughter of Pharaoh. When Moses was 40 years old, he killed an Egyptian, and the murder was mentioned to Moses, and Pharaoh wanted to kill Moses, and Moses immediately left Egypt. In Midian, Moses was married to Zipporah, a Midianite woman, and worked for Zipporah's father Jethro (Reuel). When Moses was 80 years old and herding Jethro's sheep near Mount Horeb (Sinai), Moses saw a fiery sight. The Lord God spoke to Moses, and Moses spoke to the Lord God, and the Lord God sent Moses and 83-year-old Aaron to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. In the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites. In Hazeroth, during the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam the prophetess received punishment from the Lord God, and in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin, Aaron the high priest and Moses the prophet received punishment from the Lord God. Moreover, in Kadesh, Miriam died and was buried. Upon Mount Hor, 120-year-old Aaron died. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' aide and successor from the tribe of Ephraim, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. During the era after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, several psalmists were divinely inspired to write about all that the Lord God hears. Over 400 years after Malachi the prophet received and wrote a message from the Lord God to the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 12:1-16, 20:1-29, 26:57-61, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Psalm 94, Malachi, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Sum Total
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them. This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD. Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD. The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls. And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.-Exodus 30:11-16***When Moses was upon Mount Sinai 40 days and nights with the Lord God, the Lord God gave Moses commands for the offering of items the Israelites were to willingly bring. The Lord God described to Moses and showed Moses the likeness of the tabernacle, the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the other sacred items that the Israelites were to make. The Lord God told Moses that Moses' brother Aaron and Aaron's sons and the sons born to their descendants were to be the only Israelites to serve the Lord God as priests. Aaron was the 1st high priest. Months earlier, Moses and Aaron led their fellow Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the dessert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses the prophet died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' aide and successor, was an Israelite from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. Moses and Aaron were from the tribe of Levi, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign over the Israelites. David, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. After David brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the home of Obed-edom, and the ark was placed in a specific tent in the City of David, David wanted to build a house unto the Name of the Lord. The Lord God gave Nathan the prophet a message for David about the house and David's descendants. Before 70-year-old David died, Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to rule over all of the Israelites. During the 4th year of Solomon's 40-year reign, Solomon began building the temple of the Lord. In the 11th year, Solomon's workers finished building the temple in Jerusalem, and all of the sacred items, including the ark of the covenant of the Lord, were properly placed inside. From thenceforward, the duties that were previously performed at the transportable tabernacle were performed at the temple. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Israel was the nation in the north, Samaria was the final royal city, and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Rehoboam's great-great-great-grandson Ahaziah was the 6th king to rule Judah. After Ahaziah was fatally wounded and died, his mother Athaliah ruled Judah for 6 years before Jehoiada the priest presented Ahaziah's son Joash (Jehoash) as king. The temple of the Lord and many sacred items were purposefully damaged during Athaliah's reign. Joash gave commands to the priests and their assistants regarding the money to be gathered from the Israelites. Moreover, Joash questioned Jehoiada the priest while making mention of Moses and the collection, and Joash commanded that a chest be made wherein the Israelites could drop the required monetary offerings. Over 700 years after Amaziah, the son born to Joash and Jehoaddan, became the 8th king to rule Judah, John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth). Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world, and testified that Jesus is the Son of God. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men, including Simon Peter, to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Jesus told his 12 disciples that he came to give his life as a ransom for many. In Capernaum, Galilee, a group questioned Simon Peter about Jesus and didrachmas. The didrachmas were the 2 drachmae or double drachma tribute money that was required to be voluntarily given by Israelite men for service at the temple. Historical records reveal that the drachma was a Greek silver coin, the equivalent of approximately 1/2 a shekel.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
