And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basons. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made king Solomon for the house of the LORD: The two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars; And the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases. And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea: And the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass. In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan. And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out. And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was, And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold, And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple. So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD.-1 Kings 7:40-51***David was the  8th and last son born to Jesse, an Israelite from the tribe of Judah. Samuel the priest, prophet and judge was from the tribe of Levi. When the Lord God sent Samuel to anoint David to reign as king, David was a shepherd and King Saul was reigning over the Israelites in the Promised Land. Saul did not obey the commands of the Lord God. Sometime after David was anointed, he began to serve as a musician and an armor-bearer for Saul. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Spirit of the Lord came upon David in power and the Spirit of the Lord left Saul. David killed and beheaded Goliath the gigantic Philistine, and became a commander in Saul's army and married Saul's daughter Michal. Saul wanted to kill David, and wanted others to kill David, and Michal helped David escape from their home. David began living on the run. David's nephews Abishai, Joab and Asahel, and at least 600 other men lived on the run with David. David and his men experienced victories before Saul's self-inflicted death on the battlefield, and while David reigned only over the tribe of Judah, and after David became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Thus, David was able to acquire a vast amount of gold, silver and other riches from enemies. Moreover, David received valuable gifts throughout his reign. Towards the end of David's life, the Israelites willingly gave offerings to be used for the construction of the temple of the Lord God. David spoke to his son and successor Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, regarding the accumulated wealth and explained exactly how the treasure was to be used for everything pertaining to the temple of the Lord God. Moreover, David told Solomon the precise amount of silver and gold to be used in making the items for the temple, according to the instructions David received from the hand of the Lord and the Spirit of the Lord upon him. Over 900 years after Solomon became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
