From the First Epistle of John
in the New Testament of the Holy Bible:
in the New Testament of the Holy Bible:
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.-1 John 4:7-16***The Lord God gave Ezekiel the priest and prophet words to proclaim to the Israelites living amid Ezekiel and their fellow Israelites in Babylonian (Chaldean) captivity. The Lord God revealed that he does not take pleasure when the wicked die in their sin, and the Lord God is pleased when the wicked turn away from sinning and keep the statutes of the Lord God, and the Lord God wanted the Israelites to toss away their evil practices and worship him with a new heart and spirit. Over 100 years before the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah, and began taking Israelites to Babylon, and Jerusalem was conquered, the Assyrians invaded the northern nation of Israel and conquered Samaria. Over 200 years before Samaria and Jerusalem were conquered, Rehoboam, the son born to King Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Over 500 years after Ezekiel began proclaiming the words of the Lord God to the Israelites, and Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth). Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem, nearly 6 miles from Jerusalem, into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Solomon and his descendants, all of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men, including Zebedee's sons James and John, to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. James and John were disciples and apostles of Jesus the Christ, and John became 1 of the 3 disciples and apostles most constantly with Jesus. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by the disciple and apostle Judas Iscariot, and Jesus was arrested. Before Jesus was crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven, Jesus spoke to Mary about John, and Jesus spoke to John about Mary, and John accepted responsibility for Mary. John the disciple and apostle is widely regarded to be the divinely inspired writer of the Gospel of John, and the First Epistle of John, and the Second Epistle of John, and the Third Epistle of John, and the Book of Revelation in the Holy Bible.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezekiel, Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Revelation
