Job Description

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.-Matthew 1:18-25***King Rehoboam was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Rehoboam's father King Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. Murderers and idolaters successively ruled the northern nation of Israel. Judah was ruled by kings descended from Rehoboam, Solomon and Solomon's father King David, except for the 6-year reign of Athaliah. The Lord God sent his prophets to proclaim his words to the kings and their fellow Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson King Ahaz was the 11th king to rule Judah. During Ahaz's 16-year reign, the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel joined with King Rezin and his Syrian (Aramean) army, intending to defeat Ahaz. The Lord God told Isaiah the prophet to go with Isaiah's son Shear-jashub and deliver a message of assurance to Ahaz. The Lord God spoke to Ahaz and told Ahaz to ask for a sign. Ahaz replied that he would not ask the Lord God for a sign nor put the Lord God to a test. Isaiah said that the Lord God would give a sign, that a virgin would give birth to a son and call his name Immanuel. Over 700 years after Hezekiah, the son born to Ahaz and Abi (Abijah), became the 12th king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah, the birth tribe of David and all of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus, and the Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. For 40 days Jesus fasted and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and Jesus went to Galilee. Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Isaiah 1:1-31, 7:1-25, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
