King Hezekiah and King Sennacherib

Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them. And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold. And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house. At that time did Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.-2 Kings 18:13-16***Hezekiah was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and] Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were Israelites from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam the prophetess died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron the high priest died. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses the prophet died, and was divinely buried. Joshua was Moses' aide and successor from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. After the Lord God spoke to Joshua, and Joshua sent 2 spies to Canaan, and Rahab hid the spies, and the spies returned, Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died, and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin, became the 1st king to reign. David, from the tribe of Judah, was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites, and David was a man after God's own heart. Solomon, a son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king. During the 4th year of his 40-year reign, Solomon began building the temple of the Lord, and in the 11th year, workers finished building the temple in Jerusalem. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. Jeroboam established idolatry throughout the kingdom, and the northern nation of Israel was always ruled by murderers and idolaters. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Ahaz was the 11th king to rule Judah. Pekah  united with the king of Syria (Aram) to battle Ahaz, and Ahaz, an idolater, turned to King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, instead of turning to the Lord God. Tiglath-pileser began taking Israelites from the northern nation captive during Pekah's reign. King Hoshea was the 19th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Then Rab-shakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria: Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand: Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern: Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, the LORD will deliver us.-2 Kings 18:28-32***Shem and Ham were born to Noah the ark builder. Hear Ye, Hear Ye

The words that King Sennacherib, ruler of Assyria,

sent Rabshakeh to proclaim in Jerusalem to the

Israelites (Hebrews/Jews) in Judah, the southern

nation in the Promised Land, during the reign

of King Hezekiah, at least 8 years after the

Assyrians invaded the northern nation of Israel

and conquered Samaria, the royal city

Sennacherib commanded Hezekiah to give him over 1,800 pounds of silver and over 900 pounds of gold. Hezekiah took the silver from the temple and the palace, and stripped the gold from the doors and pillars of the temple. Sometime thereafter, Sennacherib sent Rabshakeh and other Assyrians with an army to Jerusalem and Rabshakeh proclaimed Sennacherib's message to Hezekiah's men and the other Israelites. Hezekiah's men repeated the message to Hezekiah, and Hezekiah sent his men to Isaiah, and Isaiah spoke the words of the Lord God to Hezekiah's men. Meanwhile, Rabshakeh learned about the movements of the Ethiopians, and the Assyrians were sent back to Hezekiah. When Hezekiah read the written message from Sennacherib, he went to the temple, spread the written message before the Lord God, and prayed to the Lord God. Isaiah sent a message from the Lord God to Hezekiah, including details about the sign Hezekiah would see. During the night, the angel of the Lord caused 185,000 Assyrians to die. In Nineveh, Assyria, Sennacherib was killed by his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that when Hezekiah was deathly ill, Isaiah went to Hezekiah. Manasseh, the son born to Hezekiah and Hephzibah, was the 13th king to rule Judah. During Manasseh's 55-year reign, the Assyrians bound Manasseh and took Manasseh to Babylon, a kingdom under Babylonian control. In Babylon, Manasseh humbled himself before the Lord God, and prayed to the Lord God, and the Lord God brought Manasseh to Jerusalem. Manasseh's great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's 11-year reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, was the 18th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiachin's 3-month reign, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jechoiachin, his wives and mother, to Babylon. During the 11th year of the reign of Jehoiakim's brother Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth). Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. On the 8th day after John the Baptist was born, he was circumcised, and on the 8th day after Jesus the Christ was born, Jesus was circumcised, according to the covenant of circumcision that the Lord God gave Abraham.. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the Lord, and testified that Jesus is the Son of God. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Some scribes and Pharisees wanted to see a sign from Jesus, and a group of Pharisees and Sadducees wanted Jesus to show them a sign out of heaven. After Jesus cast a demon out of a man who was unable to speak, and the man spoke, some of the people wanted to see a sign from heaven.
