Just Obedience

Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD. The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me. I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me. Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me: Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.-Jeremiah 35:12-17***Moses was an Israelite from the tribe of Levi, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah,  Jacob (Israel) and Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. Jonadab (Jehonadab) was a Kenite, descended from the Kenites associated with Moses' father-in-law. King Ahaziah was an Israelite from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. Ahaziah was the 6th king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. King Ahab was an Israelite and the 7th king to reign over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land. Ahab's wife Jezebel was a Sidonian (Zidonian) princess. Ahab and Jezebel's son Joram (Jehoram) was the 9th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Jehu was an Israelite. After Jehu was anointed and became the 10th king to rule the northern nation of Israel, Jehu killed Joram, and commanded some eunuchs to throw Jezebel down to die, and commanded Israelite elders in Jezreel to behead 70 of Ahab's survivors, and led 42 royals from Judah, who were journeying to visit Ahazaiah, to be killed. After Jehu saw Jonadab, Jonadab rode with Jehu to Samaria and went with Jehu into a temple of idol worshipers, and Jehu commanded that the idol worshipers be killed. Jehu's son Jehoahaz was the 11th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Jehoahaz's son Joash (Jehoash) was the 12th ruler, Jehoash's son Jeroboam was the 13th ruler, and Jeroboam's son Zechariah  (Zachariah) was the 14th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Shallum killed Zechariah and became the 15th king to reign, Menahem killed Shallum and became 16th king, and Menahem's son Pekahiah became 17th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Pekah killed Pekahiah and became the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. Hoshea killed Pekah and became the 19th king to rule the northern nation. During Hoshea's reign, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. In Judah, only descendants of King David, the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, ruled the kingdom,  except for the 6-year reign of Athaliah. The Lord God revealed to Jeremiah the prophet that while the kings reigned, the Rechabites (Recabites) always obeyed the commands spoken by their ancestor Jonadab. Ahaziah's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians began taking Israelites to Babylon. During the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelite began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-3:24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Jeremiah, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
