...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Blessed Dressed List

John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;-Mark 1:4-6***John the Baptist was born to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and Elizabeth (Elisabeth), an elderly, previously childless couple from the tribe of Levi. Before John the Baptist was physically conceived in Elizabeth's womb, the angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah and told Zechariah that Elizabeth would give birth to a son who was to be named John. Six months thereafter, the angel Gabriel spoke to Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin pledged to wed Joseph, a craftsman, and explained that Jesus, the Son of the Most High, would be conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb. After Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb when Mary was a virgin, Mary visited Elizabeth. Months after John the Baptist was born to Zechariah and Elizabeth, Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, Exodus, Leviticus 11:21-22, 2 Kings 1:8, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Zechariah 13:4, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, and said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!-John 19:1-5***Less than 33 1/2 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born, John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded and Jesus was betrayed and arrested. In the presence of Caiaphas the high priest, Jesus affirmed himself to be the Christ, the Son of God. The next morning, Jesus was taken to Pontius Pilate, the governor of Judea for the Roman Empire, and Pilate asked Jesus if Jesus was the king of the Jews. Jesus affirmatively answered, and Jesus was flogged and handed over to be crucified. Pilate sent Jesus to Herod Antipas, the governor of Galilee for the Roman Empire. Herod Antipas questioned Jesus and sent Jesus back to Pilate. Jesus was taken to the Praetorium, the governor's Jerusalem residence, wherein soldiers took off the garments Jesus was wearing and dressed Jesus in the semblance of a king. The soldiers braided thorns together and placed the platted crown on Jesus and draped the outer cloak of a Roman soldier upon Jesus. For a scepter, they put a staff in the right hand of Jesus the Christ.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
