If It's Not One Wife, It Could Be the Other

And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her. And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast. And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her. And Laban gave unto his daughter Leah Zilpah his maid for an handmaid. And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me? And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn. Fulfill her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.-Genesis 29:21-27***Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were the fraternal twin sons, and only children, born to Isaac and Rebekah. When Isaac was elderly and thought he was dying, he sent Esau to hunt a specific animal and prepare its meat in a meal. Meanwhile, Rebekah led and helped her favorite child Jacob deceive Isaac and cheat Esau. Esau was sorrowful and enraged wanted to kill Jacob. Rebekah spoke to Jacob and led Isaac to send Jacob to Padan-aram, Haran in northern Mesopotamia and marry Rebekah's niece, a daughter of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian. Rebekah wanted Jacob to return to their home in Canaan after Rebekah sent for him. After meeting Rachel and Laban, Jacob made a deal to marry Rachel.-Genesis 11:27-50:26, 1 Chronicles 1:1-2:17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son's mandrakes. And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son's mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son's mandrakes. And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I have hired thee with my son's mandrakes. And he lay with her that night.-Genesis 30:14-16***Leah and her younger sister Rachel were married to Jacob (Israel), their cousin. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant Zilpah. Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and Rachel. Approximately 1,900 years after Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin was born near Bethlehem, and Rachel died, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:27-50:26, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
