Your Ma and Your Grandma

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day; Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.-2 Timothy 1:1-5***Jozabad (Jozachar/Zabad) was born to Shimeath, an Ammonite. Jehozabad was born to Shomer (Shimrith), a Moabite. The Moabites were descendants of Lot and Lot's oldest daughter, and Lot and his daughter's son Moab. The Ammonites were descendants of Lot and Lot's youngest daughter, and Lot and his daughter's son Ben-ammi. Lot was the nephew of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai). The Israelites descended from Abraham and Sarah, their son Isaac and his wife Rebekah, Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel) and his wives Leah and Rachel and maidservants Bilhah and Zilpah, and the 12 sons born to Jacob, his wives and maidservants. Abraham was a friend of God. Zabad and Jehozabad were comrades when the Israelites were living in 2 separate kingdoms in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam, the son born to King Solomon and Naamah, and grandson of King David and Bathsheba, was the 1st king to rule Judah. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to rule the northern nation. Zabad and Jehozabad lived in Judah and worked for King Joash (Jehoash), the 7th king to rule Judah. Zabad and Jehozabad killed Joash months after Joash caused the death of Zechariah, the son born to Jehoiada the priest. Over 700 years after Amaziah, the son born to Joash and Jehoaddan, became the 8th king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, the birth tribe of David and all of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven.  Paul (Saul) was an Israelite from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Paul did not believe Jesus to be the Christ. Throughout Jerusalem, Paul persecuted and imprisoned any Israelite man or woman who believed Jesus to be the Christ of God. When Paul was journeying to the synagogues in Damascus in Syria to find, bind and take to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus Paul was baptized. Timothy (Timotheus) was born to an Israelite mother. Timothy's father was a Gentile, a person not born into the Israelite tribes. Sometime after Paul and Timothy were introduced, Paul circumcised Timothy and they journeyed together and separately, teaching the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life. Paul taught Timothy, and sent Timothy to teach others, and wrote at least 2 divinely inspired letters to Timothy. Moreover, Paul included Timothy in salutations, and thought of Timothy as a brother and son.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-14:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-25:28, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, 11:19-28:31, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon
