And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered. But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils. And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven. But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.-Luke 11:14-28***Before the Lord God sent Moses and Moses' older brother Aaron to speak to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, the Lord God placed in Moses' hand specific wonders to perform before Pharaoh. The Egyptian magicians were able to perform the initial 3 wonders. The magicians were not able to perform the 4th wonder, the plague of gnats (lice), and declared the plague to be the finger of God. After the 10th and final plague, the death of all firstborn among the Egyptians, Pharaoh told Moses and Aaron to get the Israelites and their animals and go serve the Lord God. Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. Months thereafter, in the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes, and laws for the Israelites. When Moses was upon Mount Sinai with the Lord God for 40 days and nights, the Lord God gave Moses 2 stone tablets whereupon were written, with the finger of God, the Ten Commandments. Shortly after Moses broke the 2 stone tablets, the Lord God told Moses to cut and bring 2 stone tablets upon Mount Sinai. The Lord God descended in the cloud and stood upon Mount Sinai, and passed in front of Moses and made proclamations about himself. Afterwards, Moses was upon Mount Sinai with the Lord God for 40 days and nights, and the Lord God gave Moses 2 stone tablets whereupon were written, with the finger of God, the Ten Commandments. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Over 1,300 years after Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the  tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites.
