Job Description, and He's Not Kiddin'

The Words of
Jesus the Christ,
the Son of God:

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.-Matthew 13:44-50***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that angels brought messages and instructions from the Lord God to specific men and women, and angels fulfilled divine assignments. Before John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and Elizabeth (Elisabeth), an angel of the Lord spoke to Zechariah. Before Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, the Lord God sent the angel Gabriel to speak to Mary. After Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, an angel of the Lord spoke to Joseph, the craftsman to whom Mary was engaged to marry. Sometime after Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin, an angel of the Lord spoke instructions to Joseph in a dream. When Joseph, Mary and Jesus were in Egypt, an angel of the Lord spoke instructions to Joseph in a dream. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Jesus spoke of the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God, the end of the age, and some of the future duties angels must perform. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the disciple and apostle. Before Jesus was arrested and crucified, Jesus prayed to his Father, the Lord God, and an angel strengthened Jesus. Jesus was buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts
