Aw, Paw

And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac. And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son. And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called. And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.-Genesis 21:9-14***Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and his wife Sarah (Sarai) were childless when they were living in Ur in southern Mesopotamia and the Lord God told Abraham to depart from his country and kin and come into the land he would be shown. After Abraham and Sarah journeyed to Haran in northern Mesopotamia with their father Terah and nephew Lot, Abraham and Sarah were childless. After 205-year-old Terah died in Haran, and Abraham, Sarah and Lot journeyed with their servants and possessions to Canaan, and the Lord God promised to give Canaan to Abraham and Abraham's descendants, Abraham and Sarah were childless. Abraham eventually thought that his top servant Eliezer would inherit all the servants, silver, gold, sheep, camels, oxen, and donkeys. When Abraham was 86 years old, Ishmael was born, with Sarah's permission, to Abraham and Hagar, Sarah's maidservant. When Abraham was 99 years old, the Lord God gave Abraham the covenant of circumcision, and Abraham and 13-year-old Ishmael were immediately circumcised. When Abraham was 100 years old, Isaac was born to Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. During a feast held sometime thereafter, Sarah was offended by Ishmael's actions. When Isaac was 40 years old, he became the husband of Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. When Isaac was 60 years old, fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to Isaac and Rebekah. During the 7th year after Jacob obeyed Rebekah, and deceived Isaac, and cheated Esau, and left his parents' home in Canaan, Jacob was married to Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian. Over 1,900 years after Judah was born to Jacob and Leah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles  1:1-2:17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
