The apostles of Jesus the Christ
And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.-Acts 5:12-16***Simon Peter, James and John were the only disciples and apostles with Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, when Jesus was transfigured while on a mountain. Upon the mountain, Simon Peter, James and John saw Jesus talking with Moses and Elijah, 2 prophets who had lived centuries earlier. Simon Peter, James and John were the only disciples and apostles with Jesus when Jesus commanded the daughter of a synagogue ruler back to life, and they were the only disciples and apostles with Jesus when Jesus went farther in Gethsemane to pray, before Judas Iscariot, the disciple, apostle and betrayer, arrived with those who arrested Jesus. However, Simon Peter was the only disciple and apostle who walked on water towards Jesus when Jesus was walking on water, and Simon Peter was the disciple and apostle who received a specific revelation from the Lord God and proclaimed Jesus to be the Christ, and Simon Peter was the disciple and apostle who fetched a coin from the mouth of a fish, obeying the words of Jesus. After Jesus was crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven less than 33 1/2 years after he was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin, Simon Peter became a leader among the believers. After people knew that Simon Peter spoke to a man who was born lame yet was suddenly able to walk, Simon Peter and John were held in custody for their belief in Jesus and belief in the resurrection of Jesus. Simon Peter and John were given a command, and afterwards, Simon Peter and John proclaimed their intentions, and were threatened, and released, and continued to proclaim the good news of Jesus the Christ.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24;33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-2:25, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-15:41, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Revelation
