Between You and Me

The Words of
Jesus the Christ,
the Son of God:

Moreover if your brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.-Matthew 18:15-17***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that in the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Isralites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites. The Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God, learned that the statement of 1 witness was not enough to convict any person of a crime. An accusation proclaimed by 2 or 3 witnesses was enough to bring a charge of guilt upon anyone accused of injustice or sin, and a charge of death for those accused of murder or idolatryDuring the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land,  Moses died and was buried upon Mount Nebo. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Over 1,300 years after Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the Israelite tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus, and the Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. For 40 days Jesus fasted and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among his disciples and the rest of the Israelites. Jesus spoke about the matter of witnesses in regards to personal offenses, and Jesus taught his listeners the steps to take and the order to follow whenever a trespass occurred between believers.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, 35:1-34, Deuteronomy 17:1-13, 19:1-21, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
