From the First Epistle of John,
in the New Testament of the Holy Bible:
in the New Testament of the Holy Bible:
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (for the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.-1 John 1:1-10/the complete chapter***James and John were siblings and disciples and apostles of Jesus the Christ, the Son of God. Approximately 30 years after Jesus, the Word, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world, and testified that Jesus is the Son of God. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men, including James, John and Simon Peter, to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Jesus sent James, John, Simon Peter, and 9 other disciples and apostles on a divine mission only to the Israelites. James, John and Simon Peter were the disciples most constantly with Jesus, and they saw Jesus transfigured and talking to Moses and Elijah, the prophets who had lived centuries earlier. The Lord God allowed James, John and Simon Peter to follow along when he went to command the dead daughter of Jairus back to life, and James, John and Simon Peter were the disciples nearest to Jesus in Gethsemane before Jesus was arrested. After Jesus was crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, including Simon Peter, James and John, and returned to heaven, James was put to death according, to the command of King Herod Agrippa I. Simon Peter and John continued to serve the Lord, and left divinely inspired letters about their experiences, knowledge and revelations.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 26:1-27:23, Deuteronomy 31:1-34:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Revelation
