And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahai-roi; for he dwelt in the south country. And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming. And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself. And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done. And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.-Genesis 24:63-67***Isaac was the only child born to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai).  Less than 3 years after 127-year-old Sarah died, Abraham sent his top servant, along with men, and camels, and goods, to the home of Abraham and Sarah's family in northern Mesopotamia to find a woman for Isaac to marry. When the servant arrived in the land and was outside the city of Nahor, he prayed a specific prayer to the Lord God and saw Rebekah. After a request and introductions, Rebekah hurried home to tell everyone about the arrival of her great-uncle Abraham's servant. Rebekah's father Bethuel and brother Laban listened to the servant and believed the events were the work of the Lord God. Thus, they agreed to let Rebekah leave with the servant and become Isaac's wife. When Rebekah, the servant and those with them were in Canaan, the land wherein Abraham and Isaac lived, Rebekah spotted Isaac walking towards them. During the 20th year of Isaac and Rebekah's marriage, fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel), their only children, were born. Decades thereafter, Jacob obeyed Rebekah and deceived Isaac. When Esau planned to kill Jacob, Rebekah led Isaac to send Jacob to Bethuel's home and find a daughter of Laban's to marry. During Jacob's 7th year at Laban's, Jacob married Laban's daughters Leah and Rachel. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Over 1,900 years after Joseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel died and was buried near Bethlehem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
