1 Chronicles Chapter 16 consists of 43 verses,
verses 23-29 are given below:
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place. Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.-1 Chronicles 16:23-29***King David and Asaph were Israelites, prophets, psalmists, and musicians descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah. David was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. Asaph was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. After 37-year-old David became the 2nd king to rule all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, and brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord to the City of David, and the ark was set inside a specific tent, David delivered a divinely inspired psalm to Asaph and his fellow musicians. Solomon was the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba. Over 900 years after Solomon became the 3rd king to rule over all of the Israelites, and 70-year-old David died, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-11:43, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-9:31, 29:1-36, 35:1-27, Psalm 50, Psalm 73, Psalm 74, Psalm 75, Psalm 76, Psalm 77, Psalm 78, Psalm 79, Psalm 80, Psalm 81, Psalm 82, Psalm 83, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-2:47

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
