One Last Time

There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it; And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.-Luke 13:1-9***Months after John the Baptist was conceived by his elderly parents Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and Elizabeth (Elizabeth), Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin. While Jesus was in Mary's womb, Mary went to visit Elizabeth. Elizabeth heard Mary's voice, and John the Baptist leaped in Elizabeth's womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost). Months after John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah and Elizabeth, Jesus the Christ was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus, preaching the baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. John the Baptist baptized repenters in the Jordan River, and at a place on the other side of the Jordan River, and in the wilderness, and in Aenon near Salim, and told people to believe in the One coming after him. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Jesus preached of repentance, and sent his disciples to preach of the kingdom of heaven being near. John the Baptist proclaimed that trees which did not produce fruit worthy of repentance would be cut down and thrown into the fire.
