Why Oh Why

his disciples and some Pharisees
in the district of Dalmnutha, 
in the region of Magdala (Magadan):

And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha. And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him. And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation. And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.-Mark 8:10-13

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?-John 6:30...Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.-John 6:32-33
