Do the Do's, Don't the Don'ts, and Be the Be's

From a letter written by the apostle Paul,
to believers in Colossae:

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.-Colossians 3:16-25***The apostle Paul (Saul) was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. In several of the divinely inspired letters written and sent by Paul, revelations were given regarding pleasing the Lord. In a letter to believers in Ephesus, Paul explained that those whose lives are in Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, should be discerning what is well pleasing to the Lord. Paul explained to believers in Rome that those in the flesh are not able to please God. Paul taught believers in Corinth that an unmarried man cares for the things of the Lord, how he should please the Lord. Paul wrote that a married man cares for the things of the world, how he should please the wife, and an unmarried virgin cares for the things of the Lord, and a married woman cares for the things of the world, how she should please the husband.
