Vow to Kapow

Samson, his wife, his father-in-law,
and the Philistines:

But Samson's wife was given to his companion, whom he had used as his friend. But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in. And her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her. And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure. And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails. And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives. Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire. And Samson said unto them, Though ye have done this, yet will I be avenged of you, and after that I will cease. And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam

-Judges 14:20-15:8***The Philistines descended from Mizraim, and Mizraim was born to Ham,  and Ham was born to Noah the ark builder. Samson and his fellow Israelites descended from Noah's son Shem, and Shem's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandchildren Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), their son Isaac and his wife Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Over 750 years after Dan was born to Jacob and maidservant Bilhah, Manoah was born in the Promised Land into the tribe of Dan. Decades thereafter, t
he angel of the Lord appeared and spoke to Manoah's childless wife and told her that she would give birth to a son. After Manoah prayed to the Lord God, the angel of the Lord spoke to Manoah and Manoah's wife. After the child was born, Manoah's wife named the child Samson. When Samson was grown, he saw a Philistine woman in Timnath, a Philistine city, and Samson prepared to become her husband. In the midst of the wedding activities, Samson challenged the 30 Philistine male companions in his wedding party to answer a riddle. The companions threatened Samson's wife, and Samson killed 30 Philistines in Ashkelon in order to pay the 30 Philistine riddle solvers. Afterwards, Samson went alone to his parents' home. When Samson returned to Timnath, he learned that his wife was given to a man from the wedding party. Over 1,000 years after the Philistines captured Samson, and pulled out Samson's eyes, and Samson prayed to the Lord God and afterwards killed over 3,000 Philistines, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-16:31, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
