...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Notably, Romans 15:4 reveals: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.(KJV) In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Reference information, background information and links connecting the people and places are given to help you find a place to begin reading the Bible for yourself.

The Lord God Himself

Psalm 93

The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.-Psalm 93:1-5/the complete psalm***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that righteousness and judgment are the foundation of the throne of the Lord God in heaven, and heaven is the dwelling place of the Lord God. The earth is the footstool of the Lord God. The Lord God sits on his throne in heaven with his heavenly army standing to his right and to his left. From his throne, the Lord God looks upon the people on earth, examining them and discerning their actions. Centuries after the psalmists and prophets received revelations from the Lord God, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Judah was the 4th son born to Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah. Jacob was the youngest fraternal twin son born to Isaac and Rebekah. Isaac was the only child born to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai). Abraham and Sarah were born to Terah, and Terah was born to Nahor (Nachor). Nahor was the great-great-great-great-grandson of Arphaxad, and Arphaxad was born to Shem, and Shem was born to Noah the ark builder. Noah was the great-grandson of Enoch, and Enoch was the great-great-great-grandson of Seth, and Seth was born to Adam and Eve. The Lord God created Adam, the 1st man. The Lord God formed Adam from the dust of the ground, and the Lord God made Adam's wife Eve, the mother of all living, after taking a part out of Adam.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 26:1-27:23, Deuteronomy 26:1-34:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra 1:1-11, Job 34:1-37, Psalm 9, Psalm 11, Psalm 14, Psalm 33, Psalm 45, Psalm 47, Psalm 68, Psalm 89, Psalm 97, Psalm 103, Isaiah 6:1-13, 63:1-19, 66:1-24, Jeremiah 25:1-38, Lamentations 5:1-22, Ezekiel 1:1-28, 10:1-22, 43:1-27, Daniel 7:1-28, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, Ephesians 2:1-22, Hebrews 1:1-14, 12:1-29
