...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Notably, Romans 15:4 reveals: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.(KJV) In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Reference information, background information and links connecting the people and places are given to help you find a place to begin reading the Bible for yourself.

Know What

From a letter written by the apostle Paul,
with Sosthenes,
to believers in Corinth and everywhere:

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.-1 Corinthians 6:15-20***In the first half of a divinely inspired  message sent to believers in Corinth, the apostle Paul (Saul) revealed information about physically intimate relationships. Paul wrote that even heathens were not involved in the kind of intimacies occurring among the Corinthian believers. Moreover, Paul wrote that those who confessed Jesus, who had been crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven, to be the Christ, the Son of God, must not associate with any believer who engaged in specific physically intimate activities, and Paul explained the difference between sexual immorality and other sins.-Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus 18:1-30, 20:1-27, Numbers 5:1-31, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 22:1-30, 24:1-22, 27:1-26, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, 11:19-28:31, Romans 8:1-39, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians 12:1-21, Galatians 2:1-21, 5:1-26, Ephesians 5:1-33, Colossians 3:1-25, 1 Thessalonians 4:1-18, 2 Thessalonians 3:1-13, Hebrews 13:1-25
